Three founders, a decade of one line and collaborations with Undercover and Agnès B

Carne Bollente has arrived at HBX, a label founded in Paris in 2015. Its calling card is illustration that pairs streetwear aesthetics with an open approach to sexuality, done consistently enough that it has become the brand's entire identity.
The label was founded in Paris in 2015 by Hijiri Endo, Theodore Famery and Agoston Palinko
The stance is described as sex-positive, meaning open and free of shame on the subject
Collaborations include Undercover, Agnès B and Ace & Tate
Prices at HBX span a wide range, from basic tees to outerwear

The three founders, Hijiri Endo, Theodore Famery and Agoston Palinko, built the label around one idea: drawing as a vehicle for subjects fashion usually avoids.
The name, literally hot meat in Italian, sets the tone immediately. The label does not do subtle and does not hide behind allusion.
This is not provocation for its own sake, though. The stated aim is to question the taboos shaping human relationships, and the tool is everyday clothing. Hence the focus on classic streetwear forms, meaning tees, hoodies and jackets, rather than experimental cuts.
It would be easy to assume an aesthetic like this confines a brand to the margins. The partner list says otherwise.
Undercover, Jun Takahashi's Japanese label, is among the most respected names in menswear. Agnès B has been a pillar of French fashion since the seventies, and Ace & Tate is a Dutch eyewear brand with a strong European position.
Those are three entirely different worlds, and the common thread is a willingness to work with a label that does not soften its message. For Carne Bollente that is confirmation of being taken seriously as a design proposition, rather than treated as a curiosity.
The range covers a wide price span, from entry pieces to outerwear.
The lower end is tees and simple knitwear, the easiest way in and the most common first purchase. The middle holds hoodies and shirts, where the illustrations get more room. The top end belongs to outerwear and pieces with more involved finishing.
HBX lists prices in local currency, and the span between the cheapest tee and the dearest jacket runs to roughly six times.
If you want clothing that does not draw attention, this is not your label. The illustrations are the content rather than decoration, and wearing them discreetly is not really possible.
If you are interested in fashion with a clear position, Carne Bollente is one of the few labels holding a single line for a decade rather than reshaping it each season to suit the prevailing trend.
Context of wear is worth thinking about. Some graphics are direct enough to rule out the office, though the range also includes quieter pieces with smaller prints.
HBX is the main channel and the collection is already live there. The other retailers in this segment are worth checking too, since ranges differ:
Buying through Soleback returns part of the order value. The click has to be the last one before the shop, and cashback clears once the returns window closes.
Our promotions section is worth a look as well.
Check the size chart. Paris labels in the streetwear segment often use European cuts, narrower than American ones.
Mind the shipping. HBX ships from Hong Kong, so an order to the UK may attract duty and VAT. The European retailers above do not carry that problem.
Runs can be limited. At this size of label individual graphics go quickly and do not always return.
A Paris clothing label founded in 2015, pairing streetwear with illustration on sexual themes.

Undercover, Agnès B and Ace & Tate among others.
Chiefly at HBX, where the collection is already available. Slam Jam and Antonioli are worth checking too.
The range is wide, from basic tees to outerwear, with roughly six times between the two ends.
Carne Bollente is interesting not because it shocks but because it has done the same thing consistently for a decade and built relationships with labels like Undercover and Agnès B along the way.
If you want clothing with a clear position, this is one of few options that genuinely has one. If you prefer neutral pieces, look elsewhere, because here the graphic is the entire product.
