Referral Bonus & Welcome Bonus Terms

The two bonuses

1. The welcome bonus is a ladder of three stages. Each stage is unlocked by the total cashback you have earned on your own purchases after registering, counted from the moment each purchase is tracked. The stages stack, so reaching a higher stage also pays any lower stage you have not been paid for yet.
2. The referral bonus is paid to the member who invited a friend. It is paid once for each invited friend, when that friend reaches the qualifying stages of the ladder.
3. Each stage pays once. A welcome-bonus stage pays once per member, and a referral stage pays once per invited friend.
4. A bonus is a promotional reward paid by Soleback. It is separate from cashback, which is the share of a partner store's commission that Soleback passes on to you.

When a bonus can be earned

1. The referral bonus and the welcome bonus can only be earned during the first 45 days after registration. Once that window has closed, no further stage of either bonus can be unlocked.
2. For your own welcome bonus, the window runs from the day you register your Soleback account.
3. For a referral bonus, the window runs from the day your invited friend registers, because that bonus depends on the cashback your friend earns.
4. Cashback tracked after the window has closed is still yours as cashback. It simply does not count toward a bonus.

What counts toward a bonus

1. Cashback from your own qualifying purchases counts toward a stage from the moment the purchase is tracked, while the transaction is still pending. It does not have to be approved by the store first.
2. Bonus payments do not count toward unlocking further bonuses. A bonus already credited to your balance never moves you up the ladder.
3. A transaction that is later cancelled, returned, declined or corrected downward stops counting. Any bonus it helped to unlock is adjusted or reversed under Adjustment and reversal below.

Amounts and currency

1. Bonus amounts are fixed figures published on the welcome bonus page. They are deliberately not repeated in these terms, so that the published amounts and these terms can never disagree.
2. Amounts are set separately for each supported currency: EUR, PLN and GBP. They are fixed promotional figures, not currency conversions of one another, so the amount in one currency is not the exchange-rate equivalent of the amount in another.
3. The currency applied to your bonus follows the currency setting on your Soleback account. If your account currency is not one of the currencies a bonus is published in, the bonus is paid in EUR.
4. The amount can also depend on whether you registered with a friend's referral code or without one. The current figures for each case are shown on the welcome bonus page.

How a bonus is credited

1. A bonus is credited as an ordinary transaction in your Soleback balance, in the same place as your cashback.
2. It is created as pending as soon as a stage threshold is reached, and then follows the same lifecycle as a cashback transaction.
3. You can see every bonus, and its current status, in your transaction history.

When a bonus can be withdrawn

1. A bonus becomes available to withdraw once the transactions that unlocked it are themselves available to withdraw. It cannot be withdrawn before that point.
2. Until then the bonus is visible in your balance, but it does not form part of the amount you can request a payout for.
3. Withdrawals are otherwise subject to the rules in the Terms of Service, including the minimum payout amount and the payout methods available to you.

Adjustment and reversal

1. A bonus is credited before the cashback behind it has been confirmed by the store. If that cashback does not stand, the bonus does not stand either.
2. Where a transaction that counted toward a bonus is returned, cancelled, refunded, declined or corrected downward, the bonus may be adjusted or reversed accordingly.
3. An adjustment can reduce a bonus, remove it before it is paid, or reverse it after it has been credited, so that the bonus reflects the qualifying activity that actually stands.
4. If an adjustment takes your qualifying total back below a stage threshold, the bonus for that stage is removed. Because each stage pays only once, it is not credited again if your total later rises back above the threshold.

One account per person, and abuse

1. Each person may hold one Soleback account. Multiple accounts are prohibited, and no bonus is payable on a duplicate account.
2. The following are also prohibited: referring yourself; creating or using accounts in order to refer one another; using shared, borrowed or fabricated identities; and any attempt to manufacture qualifying activity in order to unlock a bonus.
3. Soleback carries out automated and manual checks on bonus eligibility. We do not publish the details of those checks.
4. Where we suspect abuse, we may withhold a bonus, decline it, or reverse a bonus that has already been credited, and we may suspend the account or accounts involved.
5. These rules are in addition to the referral-programme rules in the Terms of Service, which continue to apply.

Soleback's discretion

1. Soleback reserves the right to decline the referral bonus and the welcome bonus.
2. This applies to both programmes and to any individual stage of either. A bonus is a promotional reward offered at Soleback's discretion, and meeting the conditions described here does not on its own create a right to payment.

Changes to the bonus programmes

1. Soleback may change a bonus programme, including its stages, amounts and qualifying conditions, or end it entirely, at any time.
2. Bonuses already earned under the previous version of a programme are not affected by the change.

How these terms fit with our other terms

1. These Bonus Terms supplement the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
2. Where these Bonus Terms and the Terms of Service do not conflict, the Terms of Service govern.
3. The Terms of Service also cover matters that are not repeated here, including the general referral-programme rules, account suspension, and the law that governs your relationship with Soleback.

Questions
