Out 16 September, style code 213582-90H and a colourway from McQueen's daydream
Soleback Team
Crocs is marking twenty years of Cars with a clog in a livery Lightning McQueen never actually raced in. The Dinoco model arrives on 16 September, and its headline feature is a spoiler bolted to the heel strap.

£70 in the UK, with US retail set at $80
The inspiration is the daydream sequence from the first film, where McQueen imagines racing for Dinoco
An oversized wing spoiler is attached to the heel strap, making this the most car-like Crocs execution to date
A blind box collection of mini clogs lands the same day

This is the most interesting part of the release, because Crocs did not take the obvious colourway.
In the 2006 original, Lightning McQueen is offered a place racing for Dinoco, the most prestigious team in the franchise. He allows himself a moment of daydreaming and we see how he would look in the team's baby blue paint job. He ultimately turns it down and stays loyal to Rust-eze.
Which means blue McQueen exists on screen for a matter of seconds, as the version that never came to pass. Crocs has built an entire product on a side scene, recognisable only to someone who knows the film well.
For a twentieth anniversary that is a sensible call, because it rewards fans rather than simply selling them the red hero again.
And it gets better, because Dinoco is itself a quotation.
The dinosaur logo nods to Sinclair Oil, the American fuel company whose green brontosaurus has been its mark since the 1930s.
The blue and orange pairing is a tip of the hat to Gulf's livery, one of the most recognisable colour schemes in motorsport history, tied to Le Mans and the Porsche 917.
In other words, a fictional team from an animated film was designed out of real racing references, and Crocs has carried them onto a clog. Racing enthusiasts will read more into this than Pixar fans.
The construction stays as it was on previous McQueen releases, meaning the moulded car-shaped body. Almost everything else changes.
Bright blue covers nearly the entire clog, with orange and white graphics carrying the racing theme. The Dinoco dinosaur logo sits across the top, further branding appears on the strap and the spoiler, and the number 95 runs along the side.
McQueen's face remains at the front, windshield eyes and smiling grille intact, alongside faux wheels and tire branding.
The key addition sits at the back: an oversized wing spoiler attached to the heel strap, rising above the clog and carrying more Dinoco branding. It is the most car-like Crocs execution yet.
The strap stays functional and can still be worn around the heel, with the wing integrated into the build as a structural element.

UK retail is £70, with the US price set at $80. Some earlier reporting gave $75, and before confirmation estimates ran as low as $60, so the figure shifted during the announcement cycle.
A second part of the collection lands the same day, and it is easy to miss.
The Cars x Crocs Blind Box Collection offers mini clog toys at $15 a box. Six designs, at different odds.
Common, 6 in 10: McQueen, Mater and Flo
Plus, 3 in 10: Ramone and Sally
Rarest, 1 in 10: the blue Dinoco McQueen
That last one deliberately matches the clog in this release, so Crocs has made blue McQueen the rarity in both formats at once.
Worth knowing about one piece you cannot buy: the purple Ramone with flame graphics was exclusive to Disney's D23 event in Anaheim and is not part of the wider release.
Context helps in judging how special this release is.
The original Lightning McQueen Classic Clog from 2021 is one of the most popular and widely recognised collaborations in the brand's history. It built this whole line.
Mater in Classic Clog form, May 2025. The second character in the partnership.
Dinoco is therefore the third model, but the first to add a structural element rather than just changing colours and graphics.
Sales run through the Crocs store and select third-party retailers. The retailers below stock Crocs, and buying through Soleback returns part of the order value:
The click through Soleback has to be the last one before the shop, and cashback clears once the returns window closes.
It is worth watching several retailers at once, because on Crocs licensed releases allocation reaches shops at different moments, and the brand's own store does not always hold the deepest stock.
Our promotions section is worth a look too.
The spoiler changes the footprint. The wing extends beyond the outline of the clog, so it takes up more room in a bag or shoe rack than the size alone suggests.
Crocs collaborations clear unevenly. Extreme sizes tend to last longer, while the middle of the size run goes quickly.
The blind boxes are a lottery. At 1 in 10 odds on the Dinoco version, you would statistically need ten boxes, or $150, to land it.

The daydream sequence in the first film, where McQueen imagines racing for Dinoco but ultimately stays with Rust-eze.
Beyond the colour, it carries an oversized wing spoiler attached to the heel strap. It is the first model in the series with an added structural element.
No. That model was exclusive to Disney's D23 event in Anaheim.
This is a better-considered product than the idea of a Crocs clog with a cartoon character suggests. The colourway comes from a scripted what-if rather than a poster, and Dinoco itself is built out of references to Sinclair Oil and the Gulf livery.
The bigger change, though, is structural. The heel-strap spoiler is the first time Crocs has added a component rather than simply repainting the body, and that is what sets this apart from the two models before it.
Out 16 September. If a specific size is your target, watching several retailers at once is worth the effort.
