SteelSeries and KontrolFreek have launched a Fortnite collection with Epic Games. It is ten products, from thumbstick caps to wireless earbuds in a banana yellow case, and every SteelSeries item comes with a code for an in-game cosmetic. Recommended UK prices run from £14.99 for thumb grips to £179.99 for the Arctis GameBuds Peely Edition. The collection was announced on 6 October 2026 to mark SteelSeries' 25th anniversary, and you can buy it from the Fortnite page on SteelSeries.com.
The main thing to know before you buy: the Fortnite paint job costs real money. The regular black Arctis GameBuds sell for £129.98 at Scan, which is £50.01 less than the Peely Edition. The in-game cosmetic does not justify that gap, as you will see below.
SteelSeries' recommended UK prices, from the official announcement:
Arctis GameBuds Fortnite Peely Edition: £179.99
Arctis Nova 3 Wireless Fortnite Water Sprite Edition: £119.99
Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2 Fortnite Edition: £119.99
Artisan Keycap Fortnite Edition: £79.99
PBT Keycaps Fortnite, Fishstick, Guff or Supply Llama: £69.99 per set
QcK XXL Fortnite Battle Bus Edition: £44.99
QcK L Fortnite, Fishstick or Guff: £29.99
KontrolFreek Aim Boost Kit Durrr Burger Edition: £34.99
KontrolFreek Performance Thumbsticks Fishstick Edition: £19.99
KontrolFreek No-Slip Thumb Grips Supply Llama Edition: £14.99
SteelSeries gives 10% off your first full-price order if you sign up to its newsletter. On the GameBuds that is £18 off.
The same models without the Fortnite livery, at UK retailers (checked 15 October 2026):
Arctis GameBuds, black: £129.98 at Scan, £50.01 less than the Peely Edition
Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2: £79.99 at Scan in its mouse listings, £40 less than the Fortnite Edition. One Scan product page still shows £88.99, so check the basket
Arctis Nova 3X Wireless: £69.99 at Argos according to PriceSpy, £50 less than the Water Sprite Edition
On every model you pay around £40 to £50 for the livery and the code.
Every SteelSeries product includes a code for a Fortnite cosmetic. According to the SteelSeries announcement:
Arctis GameBuds Peely: Oro outfit
Arctis Nova 3 Water Sprite: Cold Hearted pickaxe
Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2: Frozen Beak pickaxe
QcK XXL Battle Bus: Rim Shot emote
QcK L Fishstick and Guff: Fossil Flyer glider
PBT Keycaps and Artisan Keycap: Statuesque emote
There is one mismatch on the mouse mats. The KontrolFreek shop lists the Fossil Flyer glider with the XXL mat, while SteelSeries and Beebom put it with the smaller QcK L. If you are buying a mat mainly for the cosmetic, ask the retailer which code is in the box.
The KontrolFreek products have no in-game item listed, even though the announcement talks about a code with every purchase. Buy the thumbsticks for the thumbsticks.
No. According to Beebom, the codes do not unlock exclusive items, and if you already own the cosmetic you get the equivalent in V-Bucks instead.
That changes the maths. You are buying a headset or a mouse in a new colourway, and the cosmetic is a bonus, not a reason to pay £50 more.
The full collection is on SteelSeries.com, including the KontrolFreek accessories. We have not found it at UK high street or online retailers yet, and none of Soleback's partner shops stock it. If you only care about the hardware, the regular models above are the cheaper route. At £179.99 this is the most expensive item in the collection. You get in-ear earbuds with active noise cancelling, 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3, in a yellow and pink case inspired by the Peely outfit. The Oro code is the most valuable bonus in the range, because it is a full outfit rather than a pickaxe or an emote.
SteelSeries lists two versions: the Nova 3 for PC and PlayStation and the Nova 3X for Xbox. The announcement describes the model as a PC and Xbox version, so check which platform is in your basket before you pay. SteelSeries quotes 40 hours of battery life. Beebom calls it the first physical Water Sprite merchandise, and SteelSeries jokes in the listing that it will not replenish your shields in real life.
This is the mouse SteelSeries launched in April for its 25th anniversary: 68 grams, 4,000 Hz polling over 2.4 GHz and up to 120 hours of battery (up to 200 hours over Bluetooth). The Fortnite Edition only changes the shell. If you play shooters and want a light mouse, the hardware stands on its own.
QcK is SteelSeries' cloth mouse mat with a rubber base. The XXL Battle Bus mat at £44.99 covers the desk under keyboard and mouse, and the QcK L at £29.99 is the cheapest way into the collection with an in-game code.
According to SteelSeries, the £69.99 PBT sets have 104 keys in ANSI layout, fit MX style switches and suit most full size, TKL and 60% keyboards. Check your keyboard first: most UK boards use the ISO layout, with a taller Enter key and an extra key next to left Shift, so a 104 key ANSI set will not cover every key. The £79.99 Artisan Keycap is a single hand painted Tab key, and it costs more than a full PBT set.
You can see the whole collection in the game before you buy anything. SteelSeries built its own island with virtual versions of the hardware. The island code is 9448-1956-0547.
