The first Beats Pill with charms, electric yellow Pikachu on one side and grey Mimikyu on the other. Here is where to buy it in the UK and what is really in the box.

Beats and The Pokémon Company International are releasing a special-edition Pokémon x Beats Pill, with Pikachu and Mimikyu printed on the grille. It goes on sale on Thursday 15 October 2026 at 4pm UK time, at Apple and Argos, both online and in selected stores. The price is £149.99.
That is exactly what the regular Beats Pill costs at Apple, so you pay nothing extra for the licence. If you were going to buy a Pill anyway, the Pokémon edition is effectively a free upgrade.
The pairing is not random. In the games, Mimikyu hides under a homemade Pikachu costume. Beats plays on that with colour: Pikachu gets an electric yellow, Mimikyu shades of grey. Both characters share the grille, and the front and back of the body each belong to one of them.
The box is special too. It has a moving, interactive element, so collectors will probably keep it on the shelf rather than in the recycling.
This is the first Beats Pill with charms. MacRumors and Hypebeast describe a set with a Poké Ball, the Beats "b" logo and lightning bolts that nod to Pikachu's moves.
The official lists are less generous, and they do not match each other:
Neither official list mentions the "b" logo or lightning bolt charms. If the full charm set matters to you, check what you get on launch day before you open the seal.
Underneath the artwork sits the standard 2024 Beats Pill:
The back has a soft-grip silicone finish, and the lanyard comes off easily.
If you already own a Pill, this matters: Amplify and Stereo link two speakers from the same generation. The Pokémon edition should therefore pair with a regular 2024 Pill. That is how the hardware works, although Beats does not spell it out for this edition.
Launch time is 8am Pacific, which is 4pm in the UK. Pokémon collaborations often go quickly, so it is worth being ready at 4pm rather than after work.
Apple UK delivers only to addresses in the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man, and Argos delivers only within the UK. No EU country has been announced for this edition. If you send one to a friend in the EU, they will pay import VAT and possibly duty on arrival.
If you want the speaker rather than the characters, the regular Pill costs £149.99 at Apple in Matt Black, Statement Red and Champagne Gold. Argos stocks all three: Statement Red, Champagne and Matte Black. Prices as of 14 October 2026.
None of Soleback's UK partners currently sells the Beats Pill, so there is no cashback on this one. Keep an eye on Soleback promotions, and the browser extension will remind you when cashback is available.
