Air Jordan 4 Retro — Birds of Paradise

Birds of Paradise takes its name from the tropical flower, and the palette follows through — Coconut Milk and Muslin as the base, with Metallic Gold and Bright Mango doing the work on top. Warm neutrals carrying bright accents, which is a different direction from where the Jordan 4 usually goes.

The colour blocking sits well on this particular silhouette. The 4 has more separate surfaces than most sneakers — the wing eyelets, the mesh panels, the heel tab, the midsole detailing — so a multi-tone treatment has somewhere to land rather than flattening into a single wash of colour.

It's a women's exclusive, which narrows availability considerably compared with a general release.
