Restaurant Week is Poland's largest and most influential culinary festival — a nationwide celebration of the country's best independent restaurants that has grown into one of the six biggest gastronomy events in the world. The Restaurant Week story began in 2014, when the festival was launched as a single-weekend gastronomy event in Warsaw with the ambition of showcasing the very best of Poland's rapidly emerging restaurant scene. Over the following decade, it grew into a bi-annual, fully nationwide phenomenon, run by the organisation behind the wider RestaurantClub group and its mobile-first RCLB booking platform. Today, Restaurant Week is officially ranked as the sixth largest culinary event in the world — sitting alongside global heavyweights such as Munich's Oktoberfest, the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, and Paris' Salon du Chocolat — with more than 155,000 guests visiting festival restaurants in each recent edition and more than 2.5 million reservations placed through the platform over the lifetime of the festival. The festival now takes place twice a year — a spring edition and an autumn edition — with each running for six-plus weeks and featuring more than 400 carefully curated restaurants in Poland's 13 largest metropolitan areas, including Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Poznań, Tricity (Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia), Łódź, Szczecin, Rzeszów, Białystok, Bydgoszcz, Lublin, the Silesia conurbation, and the Warmia-Masuria region. In autumn 2025 the festival ran from 7 October to 19 November under the theme "From Foodies For Foodies," and in spring 2026 it returned from 4 March to 22 April under the theme "Foodie Season – #GoFoodies!". Restaurant Week has now also begun exporting the format beyond Poland — with a well-established Czech edition and a much-anticipated debut in Germany (Berlin and Munich) launched in autumn 2025 — while operating year-round through the sister platforms RestaurantClub.pl and the RCLB mobile app. The Restaurant Week platform at RestaurantWeek.pl gives guests direct access to the festival's fully curated line-up of participating restaurants across 13 Polish metropolitan areas. Every restaurant taking part in Restaurant Week has been chosen based on a strict set of quality criteria — including a high standard of cuisine and ingredients, the presence of a clearly authored, chef-led menu, full waited table service, and a non-chain independent format. During each edition, participating restaurants prepare a specially designed three-course festival menu — starter, main course, and dessert — often available in two variants (Menu A and Menu B, one usually more classic and one more contemporary or plant-forward) and served during a fixed 90-minute reservation slot at a signature festival price starting from 69.99 zł per person (plus a small reservation fee). Recent editions have featured a rich and constantly refreshed selection of restaurants including bydgoska La Rosa, Gdańska 14 in the Tricity, Kraków's La Forchetta na nowo and Novum Bistro, Rzeszów's Delice and Umami, Szczecin's Restauracja Sowa and Bellevue, Tricity's Butchery & Wine and enoki, Warsaw's Jedzenie i Picie and Młody Grochów, Wrocław's Pod Papugami and Le Goose, Poznań's Nifty and Dram: Cocktail Bar & Restaurant, Bielsko-Biała's Magenta Colorfood & Liquids, and the highly praised Floor No.2 — alongside hundreds of other restaurants ranging from Michelin-recommended fine dining and modern Polish cuisine through Italian, French, Asian, Mediterranean, and fusion concepts to standout bistros, cocktail-and-food destinations, and vegetarian and plant-based specialists. Alongside the main Restaurant Week, the same platform also runs the popular sister festival Breakfast Week — a bi-annual celebration of Polish restaurant breakfasts and brunches, with more than 10,000 reservations placed in the most recent 2025 edition — and, through RestaurantClub.pl and the RCLB mobile app, offers year-round table bookings and gastronomy experiences across the same network of curated restaurants. What truly sets Restaurant Week apart is the rare combination of more than a decade of heritage on the Polish culinary scene, a rigorously curated selection philosophy, and a genuine community identity that goes far beyond a typical restaurant-booking platform. Where many restaurant-reservation services aggregate every possible venue, Restaurant Week has consciously built its reputation on quality curation — with a clearly defined, non-chain, chef-led focus that gives guests confidence in every reservation, whether they're exploring their home city or discovering restaurants on a weekend away. The festival's recent shift toward a "From Foodies For Foodies" community-led philosophy has taken this identity further, letting the platform's engaged community of Polish food enthusiasts help shape the selection — recommending favourite venues, sharing photos, contributing reviews, and returning again and again to their preferred spots. That community energy shows in the numbers: over 145,000 reservations were placed in the autumn 2025 edition alone, and the wider Restaurant Week ecosystem is now one of the largest single drivers of restaurant discovery and repeat visits in Poland. The signature three-course festival format — with clearly defined Menu A and Menu B options, a standardised 90-minute slot, and an easy-to-understand festival price — has become part of the Polish restaurant calendar, helping guests plan special occasions, work dinners, family celebrations, and weekend food adventures with confidence. Restaurant Week's sister Breakfast Week festival adds a full second seasonal moment to the year, while the year-round RestaurantClub platform and RCLB mobile app keep guests connected to their favourite restaurants between festival editions, and the recent international expansion of the format into the Czech Republic and Germany (with launches in Berlin and Munich in autumn 2025) reinforces the platform's growing status as a genuinely European culinary brand. With easy online reservations through RestaurantWeek.pl and the RCLB mobile app for iOS and Android, secure booking with intuitive filters for city, date, time, party size, cuisine, and specific restaurant, secure online payment for the reservation fee (via major credit and debit cards, BLIK, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other major local payment methods), the standardised festival format of a three-course menu (starter, main course, dessert) served over a 90-minute slot at a signature festival price starting from 69.99 zł per person plus a small reservation fee, two flagship main festival editions per year (a spring edition in March–April and an autumn edition in October–November), the sister Breakfast Week festival for weekend brunch and breakfast lovers, year-round table bookings beyond festival dates through the wider RestaurantClub.pl platform, seasonal discount codes and promotional programmes distributed through the official newsletter and social media, an active #Foodies community across Facebook, Instagram, and other social channels, an official mobile-first booking experience via the RCLB app, and an unmatched curated line-up of more than 400 non-chain independent, chef-led restaurants across Poland's 13 largest metropolitan areas — including Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Poznań, Tricity (Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia), Łódź, Szczecin, Rzeszów, Białystok, Bydgoszcz, Lublin, the Silesia conurbation, and the Warmia-Masuria region — plus growing international editions in the Czech Republic and Germany (with the recent Berlin and Munich launches in autumn 2025), Restaurant Week delivers a trusted online reservation experience for restaurant discovery, culinary events, and unforgettable food experiences — backed by more than a decade of Polish culinary heritage and its position as one of the largest and most influential culinary festivals in the world.
