Free delivery from 49.90 zł from a single seller, a 10.49 and 14.99 zł price list and one free return per order
Soleback Team
Allegro is not a shop but a marketplace, and that changes the answer to most questions about delivery. The goods are sold to you by a specific seller rather than by Allegro, so thresholds, deadlines and return rules depend on who you buy from.
The mechanism that really determines costs is Allegro Smart!: 14.99 zł a month or 59.90 zł a year. From 2 March 2026 free delivery applies on purchases from 49.90 zł from a single seller, whatever the method. Older subscriptions still run on the previous thresholds of 45 zł to a parcel locker and 65 zł by courier, so two systems are in force at the same time.
Without Smart! you pay 10.49 zł to a locker or pickup point and 14.99 zł by courier under the Allegro Delivery programme. Returns under Smart! are free, but only once per order.
Before you buy, activate cashback on the Allegro page at Soleback.
Allegro is the largest trading platform in Poland and the first thing people there associate with online shopping. The company was founded in 2000 and marked its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2025.
The key moments and figures:
The group also owns Allegro Lokalnie and Ceneo. Allegro Lokalnie has partly different delivery rules, which I mention at the relevant points.
Details of the programme are on the Allegro Delivery page.
The answer depends on whether you have Allegro Smart! and when you bought it.
With Allegro Smart!, a subscription bought or renewed from 2 March 2026:
With Allegro Smart!, an older subscription running to the end of its term:
Without Allegro Smart!:
The most important words in that threshold are from a single seller. It is not the basket total but the total of purchases from one person listing. A basket of 80 zł split between two sellers at 40 zł each meets the condition with neither of them.
Current promotional campaigns are collected in the Soleback promotions section.
The change is favourable for some and unfavourable for others, so it is worth knowing which group you are in.
For people ordering to a parcel locker the threshold rose by 4.90 zł. For those ordering by courier it fell by 15.10 zł, which is substantial.
Two further changes from the same package:
That second change is the sneaky one in everyday use. If for years you relied on automatic renewal, you may not notice that Smart! has lapsed and end up paying for delivery on your next order.
The arithmetic is simple. An annual subscription at 59.90 zł pays for itself on four courier parcels at 14.99 zł, or on six parcels to a locker at 10.49 zł. If you shop once a month, the annual option is unarguably cheaper than the monthly one, because 12 times 14.99 zł is close to 180 zł.
The full offer is on the Allegro Smart! page.
Within the Allegro Delivery programme there is a uniform price list for buyers, set by Allegro.
The cash-on-delivery surcharge matters particularly here, because it is charged even when you have Allegro Smart!. Free delivery does not cover that fee, so choosing payment on collection always adds 4.99 zł.
Outside the Allegro Delivery programme the price lists vary, because the seller sets them, and there the amounts can be both lower and higher.
This is a question the template does not contain, and it is the key to understanding the whole marketplace. The answer has two parts.
Within the Allegro Delivery programme the price is set by Allegro. The platform publishes one price list for buyers and accepts responsibility for the parcel. That is why the figures of 10.49 zł and 14.99 zł are the same across different sellers.
Outside the programme the price list is created by the seller, who manages it independently in their own panel. On Allegro Lokalnie the rule is stated plainly: the seller decides which methods to offer, and may change the suggested price only downwards.
There is one further element, which has disappeared. Since 26 March 2026 delivery and its cost can no longer be agreed individually with the seller. That method was removed, so negotiating shipping by message is no longer possible.
The practical conclusion: if you care about a predictable cost and about Allegro's support should something go wrong, look for listings with Allegro Delivery methods.
The listing shows a predicted delivery time, and here there is a subtlety few people know about.
That time is not a declaration by the seller. It is determined by an Allegro mechanism, calculated from that seller's previous shipments and from data on carrier performance. It is therefore not a guarantee but a forecast based on history.
There are two consequences. First, a delay is measured against that predicted time rather than against the dispatch deadline given by the seller. Second, Allegro sometimes extends the forecast for selected sellers itself if their statistics deteriorate.
The fastest options available:
Allegro does not publish any compensation scheme for a delay as such. If a parcel has not arrived at all, the route is a Discussion with the seller and Buyer Protection, not compensation for lateness.
Allegro has no single carrier, because it is a platform. It does, however, have its own courier company, which matters more than it might seem.
Allegro One Kurier is a service in which Allegro itself is the carrier. It was built on the acquired company WEDO and, together with the Allegro One Box lockers and Allegro One Punkt points, forms the platform's own logistics network.
The other methods in the programme:
It is worth knowing that the DHL points also include Żabka shops, so collection at a Żabka runs through the DHL network rather than as a separate Allegro method.
Yes, and it is called Allegro One Kurier with delivery today.
How it works in practice:
Allegro does not publish a current list of cities covered by same-day delivery, so the only reliable way to check is the listing itself. If the option is available for your address, it will appear when you choose delivery, together with the cut-off hour.
Yes, and with the widest choice on the Polish market. Allegro is not limited to one locker network, which sets it apart from shops working exclusively with InPost.
The locker networks available:
Within Allegro Delivery all lockers and pickup points cost the same, namely 10.49 zł, and with Smart! active and the threshold met they are free. When choosing a method it is worth looking for the Allegro Smart! icon, because not every method offered by a seller is covered by the service.
Two different things have to be separated here, and they are often confused.
Collection at a point is the standard PUDO option, meaning collection at a carrier's point: ORLEN Paczka, DHL, DPD Pickup or Allegro One Punkt. That is not collection from the seller but at a partner's outlet.
Collection in person from the seller exists as a separate method. The seller registers their pickup locations together with addresses, opening hours, telephone number and email address, and the buyer selects that option when placing the order. On Allegro Lokalnie two variants operate: collection in person with prepayment and collection in person with payment on collection.
What does not exist: Allegro runs no physical shops of its own, so there is no company outlet where any order can be collected. The availability of collection in person depends solely on whether a particular seller has made it available.
One practical note: in the Allegro Share referral programme, points are awarded only for delivery methods other than collection in person.
Allegro does not issue a standing public free delivery code, because Allegro Smart! replaces that mechanism entirely.
There is one more thing to know when planning purchases: Allegro coupons reduce the price of products, not the cost of delivery. Even a large discount coupon will not zero the shipping, because the delivery fee lies outside its scope.
Important where cashback is concerned: a code picked up from a random coupon site can zero the retailer's commission, and with no commission there is nothing to pay the cashback from.
Yes, and Allegro provides several routes for it.
The statuses you will see are: awaiting dispatch, dispatched, in transit and collect your parcel.
With Allegro One methods, notifications arrive by email, as a push in the app and by SMS if you do not use the app. Allegro notifies you about delays separately, and in an order made up of several parcels you will get a separate notification for each delayed shipment.
This is the shortest deadline in the whole process and it has changed to buyers' disadvantage, so it is worth knowing exactly.
The crucial change dates from 23 January 2025, since when the time to collect from an Allegro One Box is counted in calendar days rather than working days. Weekends and public holidays therefore fall within those two days. Allegro gives its own example: a parcel delivered on Friday at 16:00 has to be collected by Sunday at 16:00, rather than, as previously, by Tuesday.
If you do not collect the parcel in time, it will be returned to the seller and the status will change to "Odesłano nadawcy".
With courier delivery, Allegro One Kurier makes a second delivery attempt, and an SMS informs you when the parcel has been taken from the depot. Allegro does not, however, publish a document describing the full procedure, so the number of attempts and the further steps may depend on the carrier handling the given method.
If the parcel has not arrived at all, the course of action is documented and worth knowing in order.
No, and this is a costly trap. You can use free delivery under Allegro Smart! only once within the same transaction.
That means that if a parcel went back to the seller because you did not collect it from a locker within two days, re-dispatch has to be agreed with the seller and paid for. Smart! will no longer cover that shipment.
With a two-day collection deadline at an Allegro One Box counted in calendar days, that scenario is entirely realistic, particularly with parcels arriving on a Friday. If you are going away, it is better to choose a pickup point with a longer deadline, or a courier to an address where somebody will be in.
Allegro lists the reasons itself, and the first of them accounts for most cases.
The Smart! terms additionally set out category exclusions, covering among others pharmacies on business accounts, some food categories, veterinary medicines and pyrotechnics.
Allegro works differently from an ordinary shop, because it does not run a single sale but periodically organises campaigns covering many sellers, such as Allegro Smart! Week or Allegro Days.
The rules of how coupons work, worth knowing before you buy:
Current campaigns are collected in the Soleback promotions section.
Smart! Monety are virtual points collected on purchases and the only standing discount mechanism you can actually plan around.
The two deadlines that cost people the greatest savings are precisely those: 365 days on the coins and only 30 days on the coupon once exchanged. If you are saving towards a larger purchase, exchange the coins only once you know what you are buying. The details are on the Smart! Monety page.
Allegro works with external points programmes: PAYBACK and VITAY. The mechanism here is identical to cashback and worth understanding once, because it works the same way everywhere.
Allegro requires that before every purchase you go to Allegro from the chosen programme's site or app. The points appear between 24 hours and 90 days after the purchase. Without that step the transaction will not be attributed, even if you have an account in the programme.
Separately there is Allegro Share, a referral programme in which points are awarded for delivery methods other than collection in person.
For the record: Allegro does not currently run a programme of its own called Moneyback. Its official page on loyalty programmes names only PAYBACK and VITAY.
Yes, and unlike many shops Allegro does this officially, in successive editions with published terms.
The campaign is called "Odbierz kupon rabatowy 20 zł na pierwsze zakupy na Allegro" and in the published conditions it looked like this:
Three days to use it is very short, so the coupon is worth collecting once you already know what you are buying. Later editions of this campaign have their own terms, so check the conditions of the current one before using it.
Allegro does not publish an official discount for signing up to the newsletter alone. There is no analogy here to clothing shops where signing up means a predetermined amount.
That follows from the platform model. Discounts on Allegro are personalised and granted on the basis of purchase history rather than handed out as a flat rate to every new email address. The newsletter informs you about campaigns such as Smart! Week, but it is not a coupon.
If you are after a measurable saving, three things are more reliable: Smart! if you shop regularly, Smart! Monety, and cashback activated before you buy.
No. Neither the help pages on coupons nor the material on discount programmes mentions a birthday benefit. The coupon mechanism is based on purchase history, not on a date in the calendar.
That is a difference from clothing and beauty chains, where a birthday gift has become standard. On a marketplace such a mechanism is rare, because discounts are partly funded by the sellers themselves rather than solely by the platform.
That depends on three things, and this is where a marketplace differs most from a shop.
By default the cost of sending the item back is borne by the buyer. A return is free, however, if:
The limit of one free return per order matters when buying several things from one seller. With a free return you can generate a maximum of 10 codes or labels, but the action itself counts as one.
A free return does not work in categories where sellers have the right to refuse a return.
The deadlines come in two stages and both have to be met.
The refund is made by the seller, after they receive the parcel. Allegro notes that the money comes back faster when you use its own tracked return methods. For orders paid on collection you have to supply refund details separately.
The procedure and the form are on the Allegro returns page.
Yes, and the choice is wide. You can send a return from a locker or a point, with weight limits depending on the method.
Since 16 February 2026 Allegro additionally allows returns to be sent from all postal outlets. Registered letters and mini-parcels, on the other hand, can be returned only at Poczta Polska.
What does not exist: a return at a physical shop, because Allegro runs no such shops. The only equivalent is handing the parcel in at a carrier or at a locker.
Yes, and this is one of the most important differences between Allegro and an ordinary shop.
The practical conclusion: check the return rules in the specific listing before you buy, not after. On more expensive items it is worth choosing business sellers for precisely that reason.
This is a mechanism no ordinary shop has and the strongest argument for buying on Allegro rather than from an unknown seller on another site.
The programme works for all buyers, regardless of whether they have Smart!. The condition, however, is going through the complaints route, meaning first contact with the seller and a Discussion, and only then a claim to Buyer Protection.
The current rate is always on the Allegro page at Soleback. It changes over time and rises during seasonal campaigns.
The mechanism is exactly the same as with PAYBACK and VITAY, which Allegro describes on its own pages: you have to enter Allegro through Soleback and complete the order in the same session. Without that step the transaction will not be attributed.
On a marketplace, cashback has one clear advantage over coupons: it covers practically the entire range rather than selected categories, and it does not require remembering a coupon's expiry date. To avoid forgetting the activation step, install the Soleback extension, which flags automatically when a shop is in the programme. New users also start with a welcome bonus.
Allegro is hard to compare with an ordinary shop, because almost every rule here has two levels: what the platform sets and what the seller sets. Delivery under the Allegro Delivery programme is predictable, because Allegro imposes the price list of 10.49 zł and 14.99 zł. Outside the programme the price lists are created by sellers and there you have to look at the specific listing.
The whole economics of shopping on Allegro, meanwhile, comes down to one decision: whether to buy Smart!. An annual subscription at 59.90 zł pays for itself on four courier parcels, unlocks one free return per order and is the precondition for collecting Smart! Monety. Without it you pay for every parcel and lose access to the platform's main discount mechanism.
Three things are worth remembering, because they cost the most: the 49.90 zł threshold is counted from a single seller, an Allegro One Box gives a parcel back after two calendar days, and re-dispatch of an uncollected shipment is not free. On top of that comes cashback activated before entering the platform, which with a range this wide works better than any category coupon.
