Why discount codes will not work on the Kayano, Nimbus or Cumulus, where the real reductions are, and what delivery and returns cost. Based on ASICS pages read on 7 October 2026.
Soleback Team
Looking for an ASICS discount code for the GEL-Kayano, GEL-Nimbus or GEL-Cumulus? Start with the rule that changes everything: according to ASICS's own promotions page, read on 7 October 2026, those three models are excluded from all promotional and discount codes. The same goes for the student and healthcare worker discounts. On the shoes people search for most, the only real reductions come from the sale, Members' Days for OneASICS members and the outlet.
This guide covers every route to a lower price at asics.com/gb, with the conditions and the exclusions, then delivery, returns, payment and a comparison of the three best-known running shoes. Every price comes from an ASICS page with the date it was read. Where ASICS pages contradict each other, I say so.
For ASICS codes and offers in one place, plus the terms of shopping through Soleback, see the ASICS page on Soleback.
ASICS's promotions page answers the question "Are there any exclusions when using my promotional/discount codes?" with a clear yes. The products currently excluded from all codes are:
Two more rules apply: codes cannot be combined with other promotions or with items already on sale, and collaborations are excluded.
In practice, a code from a voucher site will not take anything off a Kayano 33, whatever its description promises. A code can still work on trainers outside the list, clothing or accessories at full price. That is a conclusion from the rules, not a test of every code out there.
From most to least useful for running shoes:
On 7 October 2026 the homepage at asics.com/gb ran a "Mid-Season Sale, Up to 30% off selected items". Product pages show labels such as "Mid-Season Sale: 25% off". ASICS gives no end date.
There is some ambiguity. Some banners describe the offer as "Save up to 30% on selected styles. For OneASICS members only", yet the GEL-Nimbus 28 showed its sale price without logging in. The simple fix: create a free account and check the price while logged in.
The GEL-Cumulus 28 page in Arctic Blue/Aegean Blue showed "Members' Days. Log in for 25% off". This is a member price, not a code, so the code exclusion list does not apply to it. That makes Members' Days one of the few ways to get a reduction on the Cumulus or Nimbus outside the sale.
All OneASICS promotions apply only after logging in or signing up, and they cannot be combined with other offers, according to the promotions page.
Membership "is free of charge and does not require you to make any purchase", say the OneASICS terms. The benefits listed on the OneASICS page and in the terms:
The counterintuitive part: ASICS banners promise free returns on all orders, with or without an account. So the real advantages of membership are free delivery under £50, the 90-day trial, the birthday 15 per cent and Members' Days prices.
You must be subscribed to ASICS communications and have joined OneASICS at least one month before your birthday. The code arrives by email and is valid for 30 days. Online, you enter it in the "PROMOTION CODE" field in the basket. In store, the staff scan the barcode in the email.
The code cannot be used on past orders, shipping costs, taxes or gift cards, and it is limited to one use per customer. As a promotional code, it also falls under the exclusion list, so it will not work on the Kayano, Nimbus or Cumulus.
The OneASICS terms describe three levels unlocked by Moves: Level 1 at 150 Moves, Level 2 at 300 and Level 3 at 800 or more, with a reward to choose at each level. The UK terms illustrate Level 2 with an example written in euros, which suggests the text is shared across Europe, so the exact UK reward values are not confirmed.
At £1 = 1 Move, Level 1 means spending around £150 and Level 3 around £800. That is my own calculation from the conversion rate, not an ASICS figure.
The official outlet is a separate shop at outlet.asics.com/gb. Its promotions page ranks near the top of Google for "asics discount code", because that is where the official welcome offer lives. The rules:
Student Beans lists outlet offers of up to 60 per cent off men's sale items, with free shipping over £50. That is a third-party listing and it changes often.
When you search for the ASICS outlet you may come across domains such as asicsoutlet.co.uk or asicsoutlet.uk.com. I found no evidence that either belongs to ASICS. The first could not be read at all, because its robots file blocks everything and its homepage serves only a redirect script. A 2023 thread on UKClimbing pointed shoppers to outlet.asics.com as the genuine outlet and warned about an imitation site. Stick to outlet.asics.com, or go through asics.com.
ASICS gives students a "10% discount on selected full-price footwear and 10% discount on selected full-price clothing and accessories". The conditions from the discount programmes page:
Student Beans and UNiDAYS also list 10 per cent for ASICS, while the official page names SheerID. If one route fails, try another, but the percentage is the same everywhere.
ASICS runs an official Healthcare Worker Discount through SheerID. The page says most types of medical professionals, including doctors, nurses and medical researchers, are eligible. The UK page does not state the percentage or mention the NHS by name. On the Italian ASICS site, the equivalent discount is 10 per cent under the same rules as the student discount, which suggests the same here, but that is not confirmed for the UK.
Separately, Blue Light Card advertises "20% off full price" at ASICS for its members. That offer is run by Blue Light Card, not listed on the ASICS page, and its exclusions are not confirmed.
The promotions page describes the kinds of offers ASICS runs through the year. It is a rulebook, not a list of offers live today:
All of these apply automatically in the basket, with no code, when the item carries the matching label.
I found no reliable source for ASICS UK Black Friday 2025 discounts or dates. The official Black Friday page currently shows no Black Friday content, and Savoo claims ASICS has not run Black Friday deals for a few years, which I cannot verify. If you are holding out for Black Friday to buy a Kayano, remember that codes still will not apply, so only the price on the product page counts.
The homepage invites you to "Sign Up For Our Newsletter", but no official page promises a sign-up discount. What signing up does do is qualify you for the birthday code, which requires marketing consent.
The three most searched ASICS models do different jobs. Data from the product pages on asics.com/gb, read on 7 October 2026, men's versions:
How to choose:
Note that the Kayano 33 specification table on the ASICS site says "Support: Neutral", even though its description and category are about support. I treat that as a data error on the page.
See the GEL-Nimbus 28, the GEL-Kayano 33 or the GEL-Cumulus 28 at current prices.
From the shipping information page, which covers asics.com and the outlet, read on 7 October 2026:
Orders placed after 2pm are processed the next working day. Express is delivered between 07:00 and 21:00, with proof of delivery. ASICS delivers throughout the UK but not to the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, Gibraltar or BFPOs.
You have two routes. Without an account, standard delivery is free above £50. With OneASICS, standard delivery on footwear or apparel is always free, as long as you are logged in at checkout. Since every running shoe in this guide costs well over £50, you pass the threshold anyway. The account matters for smaller orders such as socks.
From the returns policy page:
The terms add that if you use another carrier instead of the ASICS returns service, you pay the return cost yourself.
OneASICS members get a 90-day trial on all footwear, apparel and accessories bought on asics.com, and can return them "with or without original tags", which means after running in them. It does not apply to outlet.asics.com. That is the strongest reason to join before buying running shoes: a normal return requires unworn shoes, the trial does not.
According to the returns policy page, ASICS should receive the parcel within 15 working days, and the confirmation and refund can take another 3 to 5 days. The refund goes to the original payment method and includes the product price and VAT. The returns portal says you will get the refund "in around 10 days", while another ASICS returns page says "in around 14 days".
You can bring items to any ASICS store or ASICS outlet store for free returns, with the original proof of purchase, such as the order confirmation email, order number or receipt. Shipping costs are not refunded. ASICS does not accept items bought from other retailers, including authorised ASICS stockists. ASICS names its London stores on Regent Street, its largest flagship, and Oxford Street. The total number of UK stores is not confirmed.
The payment information page lists:
According to the same page, Klarna and online bank transfer are offered only in other countries, such as Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Clearpay is not mentioned. Neither Klarna nor Clearpay is confirmed for UK orders.
You will find current codes for other sports shops on Soleback's deals page, and the Soleback browser extension helps while you shop. New to Soleback? Check the welcome bonus. Full terms for buying ASICS through Soleback are on the ASICS page on Soleback.
