Sony and Rockstar have revealed two limited-edition DualSense controllers in Vice City colours. Pre-orders opened on 10 September and the black edition is already listed, with release on 19 November, the same day as the game itself.

White Limited Edition draws on Vice City by day: white sand, pastel skies and the loose glamour of the coast.

Black Limited Edition captures the energy of the city at night instead.

Both carry a shimmering finish that shifts colour depending on the angle of light, referencing sunsets and neon. Add pink accents on the D-pad and face buttons, a "VI" logo engraved on the touchpad and palm-tree etchings on the grips.

Important: this is not a better controller

Worth saying plainly, because the price suggests otherwise.

Sony has added no technical upgrades. You get a standard DualSense with haptics, adaptive triggers, a gyroscope, built-in speaker, microphone, USB-C charging and a 3.5mm jack.

The features GTA VI uses, meaning haptics responding to the Leonida environment and dynamic trigger resistance, work on any DualSense. You do not need the limited version for them.

So you are paying purely for the design and the limited run.
