The Pokémon 30th anniversary keeps building. After a run of sneaker collaborations it is Crocs' turn, and the brand is not starting with a character but with the most recognisable object in the entire series. The Classic Clog “Poké Ball” arrives on 28 August 2026 at $70 in adult sizing. Going through Soleback adds 1.5 per cent back on the order value.

What it looks like

The design makes no attempt at subtlety. The upper is split into the familiar red and white halves, and the same motif returns on the heel strap. A metallic Pokémon logo sits at the back of the shoe.

Four Jibbitz charms come in the box: Pikachu, Eevee, Psyduck and a fourth carrying the phrase “I Choose You!”, a nod to Ash's best-known line from the anime.

This is one of the rare cases where being literal works in the design's favour. The Poké Ball has geometry simple enough to map onto a clog with no compromise at all, so Crocs had nothing to simplify and nothing to stretch.

This is only the first pair

Crocs has more models lined up for the anniversary. Clogs themed on Pikachu and Gengar are in the works, along with a Classic Platform Clog built around Jigglypuff. No dates have been announced for those.

Worth noting: this is not the first meeting between these two brands. A run of four clogs featuring Charizard, Jigglypuff, Gengar and Snorlax landed in 2024, and earlier this year Crocs released pairs themed on the starter trio. The new wave is a continuation rather than a debut.

Context: three brands, one anniversary

Three footwear brands are working the Pokémon 30th anniversary in parallel. PUMA came earlier in 2026, the twelve-pair adidas x Pokémon collection lands in September, and now Crocs joins in.

The difference is positioning. adidas is playing to collectors, with complete evolution lines and retail from $110 to $180. Crocs is going for accessibility: $70, full family sizing and a design that reads for someone who knows Pokémon purely through the Poké Ball.

If you are buying with a child in mind, Crocs is the obvious pick here, since sizing runs down to toddler and a kids' pair costs $55. The same scenario at adidas costs roughly double.
