The artist's second PUMA capsule, in cracked leather with extended laces
Soleback Team
Rosé and PUMA are back with the Speedcat OG, this time in brown. It releases on 8 October 2026, and the pair stands out for its cracked, artificially aged leather and extended laces. This is the second capsule in the partnership, following the monochrome set from August 2025. Buy through PUMA UK with Soleback cashback active and part of the bill comes back.
The Speedcat OG in Rosé's brown execution is one of two colourways announced for October. The second is pink, and both work from the same material idea: leather with a pronounced, cracked surface.
In brown that texture reads as natural wear, as though the shoe already has a few seasons behind it. That is deliberate, and it is the main difference from the smooth leather of the standard Speedcat OG.
The second signature is the extended laces, which on a shaft this low function as styling rather than fastening. Canvas bags, spare laces and custom packaging round out the release.
The Speedcat was not born a lifestyle shoe. It was an ultra-slim construction for driving a race car, designed to shave fractions of a second off a lap. The flat sole and narrow shape were there to give the driver feel through the pedals, not comfort while walking.
The model returned to shelves in 2024 and has since grown into a whole family: Speedcat Ballet, Speedcat Wedge, Speedcat Mule, Speedcat Etoile. The OG version sits closest to the original, with a leather upper, suede Formstrip, IMEVA midsole and rubber outsole.
Rosé became a global PUMA ambassador in 2024. Her first signed collection reached shops on 28 August 2025 and held a single tone throughout: the Speedcat Ballet with lacing modelled on pointe shoes, the Speedcat OG Premium, an oversized track jacket, trousers, a top with ROSIE graphics and small bags.
At the time the artist said the collection mattered to her because it reflected so much of who she is, describing it in terms of quiet rebellion, honest expression and everyday confidence.
Summer 2026 added the Speedcat Etoile in pastel pink, with satin finishes and ribbon laces meant to be tied in a bow, which landed on 30 July.

PUMA has not published a UK price for this pair yet. For reference, the standard Speedcat OG sits at £90 on PUMA's UK site, and the first PUMA x ROSÉ Speedcat was listed at £115, so the collaboration tier runs above the regular model. Check the product page on release day for the final figure.
The full list of stores with active cashback sits in the Soleback catalogue.
PUMA UK: the official source, full size run on launch day
JD Sports: large allocation, a good place to pick up a missed size

On a shoe around the £115 mark, 3 per cent returns roughly £3.45, 5 per cent £5.75 and 8 per cent £9.20. Add an apparel piece from the same line and the figure scales with the basket.
For the rebate to register, open the store's page in the Soleback catalogue before you buy and click through from there. If you would rather not remember every time, the Soleback extension prompts you to activate. New accounts also get the welcome bonus.
App versus browser: cashback registers on browser purchases, buying inside a retailer app usually will not track
Codes from elsewhere: a voucher found outside Soleback can zero the commission, and then there is nothing to pay out from
Sizing: the Speedcat is narrow and flat by design, since it descends from a racing driver's shoe, so wide feet should consider going up a size
Cracked leather: the texture is part of the design rather than a fault, and a soft cloth works better than a brush when cleaning it
Approval time: the rebate is released after the returns window closes
The Speedcat OG in Rosé's brown version takes a shoe built for driving a race car and dresses it in leather that looks years into its life. That fits what the artist has done with PUMA so far: rather than shouting through colour, she shifts the material and the detail. It drops on 8 October 2026.
