Air 1 High OG 'Shattered Backboard'

Shattered Backboard is one of the few Jordan 1 colourways with a story attached that people actually know. During an exhibition game in Barcelona in 1985, Jordan dunked hard enough to bring the backboard down — and the orange, black and white palette here comes from the suit he was photographed in around that trip, not from the shoe he played in.

That's most of what makes it work. The colour blocking is unusual for an AJ1: black leather carrying orange overlays, with white breaking it up, rather than the red-and-white template most colourways run on. It reads as distinct from across a room, which is why it's been reissued repeatedly since the original 2015 release.
