Salomon x Footpatrol XT-4 OG Women's

The XT-4 was built for trail running, and everything visible on it exists for a reason that has nothing to do with fashion: the Quicklace system pulls tight with one hand, the Sensifit panelling wraps the foot to stop it sliding on descents, and the Contagrip outsole grips wet rock. That the whole thing ended up being worn through cities was never the plan.

It happened anyway, and the reason is straightforward — technical footwear turned out to be more comfortable than most lifestyle sneakers, and the busy, layered construction reads as distinctive rather than plain. Salomon and HOKA both came off the mountain the same way, on the back of function rather than marketing.

This one is a Footpatrol collaboration, which means limited production and a colourway you won't find on the general release. Available in women's sizing.
