Knockturn Alley is the turn off Diagon Alley that Harry ends up in by accident — dark shopfronts, questionable merchandise, and Borgin and Burkes at the centre of it. It has always had more atmosphere than the main street, and it translates well into a LEGO build for exactly that reason: the palette is darker, the architecture is crooked, and there's more character in the detail.

It's a natural companion piece if you already have Diagon Alley on the shelf — the two sit together the way they do in the books.
