LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr (10333)

Sauron's fortress, rendered at 5,471 pieces — one of the larger builds LEGO has put into the Icons line, and one of the more demanding. The tower rises to the Eye at its summit, and the detailing across the lower structure is dense enough that the build takes serious time rather than an evening.

Ten characters come with the set, covering both sides of the story. Finished, it stands around 60cm tall and weighs roughly 7.5kg — a centrepiece rather than a shelf piece, and worth checking you have the space and a surface that can take the weight.

It's the natural companion to Rivendell in the same range: the two anchor opposite ends of Middle-earth, and they're clearly designed to sit in the same collection.
