This is the most interesting part of the model and worth knowing, because it explains the whole project.
The BadBo 1.0 debuted in February 2026, timed to Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime performance. It is hard to imagine a louder opening for an artist's first signature shoe.
The starting point of the design is what matters, though. The BadBo is built on the adidas Streetwise, a basketball shoe from 1994. And here is the detail that is no accident: 1994 is the year Bad Bunny was born.
The artist, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, reached not for a random archive classic but for a shoe from the year of his birth. A personal signature written into the construction rather than into a logo on the tongue.
2026 was an unusual year for him beyond music too. Alongside the Super Bowl he ran a year-long tour behind the album "Debí Tirar Más Fotos", breaking attendance records, while expanding the adidas partnership with further 1.0 colourways, golf versions, baseball cleats, slides and the F50 Ghost Sprint.
The 1.0 appeared in only three colourways, across February and March, which makes a 1.1 arriving a handful of months later a surprisingly quick move.
This is not a new design but a refinement of an existing one. The silhouette, the curved panel layout and the midsole stay essentially untouched, while the upper has been rebuilt.
Lowered collar. The most important change and the reason this version exists. A shoe with a raised cuff becomes a straightforward low-top, easier to wear daily.
Suede T-toe overlay instead of a flat toecap. A detail for those who know, because that overlay ties the BadBo to adidas classics: the Samba, the Handball and the Gazelle. The model stops being purely futuristic and gains an anchor in the brand's archive.
Dimpled mesh instead of leather in the side windows. The midsection looks lighter for it and breathes better.
Simplified side walls, which improves airflow and everyday usability.
A narrower toe panel exposes more mesh under the tongue, so the construction reads less bulky than on the 1.0.
The debut pair is called Chalk White/Grey Two-Pink, code LC5466.
The material mix is richer than the name suggests. The toe and the wavy arch across the side are light grey suede, while the triangular cutouts are filled with dark grey dimpled mesh.
The rest of the side panel is tan suede, and the tongue and laces are kept in pale pink, giving contrast against the otherwise neutral build.
119.99 EUR, which at UK retailers works out at around 100 GBP.
That is a figure worth setting against the predecessor, because the gap is significant. The BadBo 1.1 is priced roughly a quarter below the BadBo 1.0, which is rare on signature models: sequels usually get dearer, not cheaper.
With a lower cuff and a simpler construction the difference is justified, but in practice it also means the low-top version is simply more accessible than the model that debuted at the Super Bowl.
Release at Snipes: 26 September 2026.
One discrepancy in the international coverage is worth noting. Some outlets gave 15 September, but the Snipes date matches the later of the circulating dates. On releases spread between adidas CONFIRMED and individual retailers that is normal, and for buyers in Europe the binding date is that of the shop they intend to buy from.
The model comes in unisex sizing.
The release runs through the product page at Snipes, and you can check the current cashback rate on the Snipes store page at Soleback.
Cashback does not clash with a store's own promotions, because the rebate is calculated on the amount you actually pay. How to activate it:
Sign in to Soleback or open a free account. Registration costs nothing.
Open the store page and check the rate.
Click the button through to Snipes. That click has to be the last one before you reach the store, otherwise the order will not be attributed.
Shop as normal.
Wait for the funds to be approved once the returns window closes.
Have a look at our offers section as well.
Four things worth preparing.
Set up your Snipes account a day early and enter shipping and payment details. On Bad Bunny releases seconds count.
Go through Soleback before you start shopping, not after the shoe is in the basket.
Decide on a size in advance. With unisex sizing the middle of the scale goes first.

It is a low-top thanks to the lowered collar and carries a suede T-toe overlay instead of a flat toecap. Dimpled mesh replaces leather in the side windows and the side walls are simplified.

The BadBo 1.1 is that rare case where the sequel is the more sensible shoe. A lower cuff, lighter materials and 119.99 EUR rather than the level the 1.0 launched at make it something to wear daily rather than a souvenir of a Super Bowl performance.
The best detail stays invisible at first glance. The whole line is built on the 1994 adidas Streetwise, the year the artist was born, and the new T-toe overlay ties it further to the Samba, the Handball and the Gazelle.
