Who is behind Soleback, where the cashback money comes from, when you can withdraw it and which clauses in the terms actually affect your balance.
Soleback Team
Soleback is a cashback service run by Soleback sp. z o.o., a limited company based in Warsaw, Poland, and entered in the Polish company register in August 2021. The idea is simple: partner shops pay us a commission for sending them a customer, and we pass part of that commission back to you as cashback in your balance, which you then withdraw by bank transfer. Using Soleback is free. Below is everything worth checking before you trust any cashback service, us included: who runs it, where the money comes from, when and how you get paid, what the terms say and what data we collect. Correct as of 16 October 2026.
The short version: you pay us nothing, you never give us your card details, and whether cashback reaches your account depends mainly on the shop confirming your order. That is why the money does not appear straight away, and that delay is what raises the most questions.
Yes, in the sense that any cashback service can be safe: we do not handle the payment for your shopping, we never see your card details and we do not charge fees. You pay the shop directly, on its own website and under its own terms. All we do is record that you reached the shop through our link.
The risk with cashback sites is different from the risk with shops. Nobody is going to empty your bank account. The real risk is that the promised cashback does not track or cannot be withdrawn. So this guide focuses on what actually decides whether you get paid: tracking rules, timings and the terms and conditions.
The service is operated by a company you can look up in a public register:
KRS is the Polish National Court Register, the Polish equivalent of a companies register, and "sp. z o.o." is the Polish form of a private limited company. The same three co-founders are the company's only shareholders. Soleback started as a Discord server run by a community of trainer fans and collectors chasing drops. Over time the server grew into a cashback platform, and today we work with more than 710 shops across Europe.
The company files annual accounts, and its 2025 financial statements have already been published. Anyone can read them through the Polish Ministry of Justice's KRS search, which is free to use. It is a good habit with any service that holds your money, even for a few weeks.
From affiliate commission. When you click "Activate cashback", the shop is told that Soleback sent the customer. If you buy and keep the item, the shop pays us a commission on the order, and part of that commission goes into your balance.
That leads to something worth understanding from day one: your cashback only exists once the shop pays its commission to us. Our terms say so plainly. If the shop does not pass on the transaction data or does not pay the commission, no cashback is credited. We cannot pay out money the shop has not paid us.
You can also install the Soleback extension, which reminds you about cashback when you land on a partner shop and activates it with one click.
The rate depends on the shop and often on the product category too. At END. Clothing, the cashback rate on Soleback is 3.5% by default, 1.5% on sale items and 0.5% on orders placed with a promo code. Shopping at END. Clothing through Soleback looks like this:
The highest rates on Soleback go up to 14%. Some shops pay more than END. Clothing, some less, and shops change their rates during the year, so always check the current rate on the shop's page on Soleback just before you buy.
This is the question we hear most often, and the answer depends on the shop. Our documents give three different figures:
The last figure is the one that counts, because the shop decides when to confirm an order. END. Clothing is a good example of why: its table shows a longer wait than the 30 to 90 days in our FAQ, so if you shop there, expect your cashback to stay pending for three to five months. The shop has to wait out its returns and complaints period first. If you buy trainers you can send back within 30 days, the shop will not confirm the commission before that window closes, and it usually adds time for its own accounting on top.
There is an upper limit too. If the shop has not confirmed a transaction within 18 months of purchase, the terms provide for the cashback to be rejected.
We do not currently publish a total for cashback paid out, and we are not going to round one up here to look good. Instead, here is what you can check for yourself: the company's details in the KRS, its published financial statements, the withdrawal rules in our terms and the user reviews covered below.
Treat headline figures from any cashback service with some caution. A total paid out over several years tells you very little about whether you will get your £5.25 back on a pair of trainers. What tells you more is how the service describes its withdrawal conditions and whether you can actually reach someone when something goes wrong.
We pay out by bank transfer. You add your account number in your account settings under Payments, and for your first withdrawal you give us your full name and address, because we need to know who we are sending money to.
You can only withdraw approved cashback. Pending amounts show in your balance but cannot be included in a withdrawal request.
Most of the claims we receive come down to a handful of recurring causes. Before you click "Buy", make sure that:
Tracking relies on cookies, so a browser that clears them as you go can also lose an order. We support Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
If a transaction has not appeared in your balance 48 hours after purchase, report it from the balance tab and include your order details. Our shop pages give you 28 days from the date of purchase to do this, so do not leave it until the end of the returns period. Claims are usually checked within 48 hours.
We usually reply to messages sent through the help centre within 24 hours. You can also write to us on our Discord server, which now has more than 1,400 members. It is also the quickest way to see how we talk to other users before you sign up.
The terms are long, so we have picked out the clauses that actually affect your money:
The inactive account clause is the one people most often miss. If you shop through Soleback every few months, you have nothing to worry about. If you build up a balance and then forget about it for more than a year, withdraw it before then.
A new account can earn a welcome bonus in three stages. The bonus is added automatically, so there is nothing to claim. For pounds sterling the stage amounts are set separately rather than converted from another currency, and the current figures are on the welcome bonus page.
Cashback tracked within 45 days of creating your account counts towards the bonus, including cashback that is still pending. You can only withdraw the bonus once the shop has approved the cashback that unlocked it, though. If you return an order and your balance drops below a stage's threshold, the bonus for that stage disappears and does not come back. The bonus terms are what is binding.
For every friend who signs up through your link, you get 10% of their approved cashback, with no limit on the number of friends and no time limit. Referring yourself or opening accounts in other people's names gets every linked account blocked.
To create an account we need your email address. When you withdraw, we ask for your full name, address and bank account number, because without them we cannot make the transfer or meet our tax obligations. We never see your card details at all, because you pay on the shop's website.
Under our privacy policy, we share data with IT and hosting providers, law firms and public authorities where the law requires it. Tax and accounting records are kept for 5 years from the end of the year they relate to, because the law says so. You have the full set of GDPR rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability. You can complain to UODO, the Polish data protection authority, or to the data protection authority in the country where you live.
The extension worries people more than the website does, and fairly so, because any browser add-on can see more than an ordinary web page. Ours works like this:
In the Chrome Web Store, the extension declares access to website content. It needs that to recognise that you are on a partner shop and show you the rate. The developer is Soleback sp. z o.o., at the same address as in the KRS, and the extension is rated 4.9 out of 5. The latest version is 2.0.8, released on 12 September 2026 (as of 16 October 2026). The extension is optional: cashback works exactly the same without it, as long as you activate it on our website.
We are a small service and we are not going to pretend we have thousands of reviews. As of 16 October 2026:
If you use Soleback, the most helpful thing you can do for others is leave a review on Trustpilot, critical ones included. An empty review page tells a newcomer nothing, while a review with a date and specifics (shop, amount, approval time) says more than any reassurance from us.
This checklist works for any service, not just ours:
In our view, be careful if a service:
With Soleback you pay for nothing, the company's details are in the KRS, shop rates reflect the commission shops pay, and you can reach us through the help centre and Discord.
