There is no single Debenhams discount code that works on every order. This guide covers the codes on the shop's banners, student and Black Friday offers, delivery, returns, cashback and reviews, all read on 4 November 2026.

There is no single Debenhams discount code that works on every order in November 2026. On 4 November the shop's own banners showed three codes: SPEEDY (£2 next-day and express delivery on orders over £25), FLASH10 (10% off orders over £75) and BEAUTY5 (an extra 5% on beauty icons), while students get an extra 10% on selected brands through Student Beans and the Black Friday preview runs at up to 75% off. Soleback shows up to 1.5% cashback on the Debenhams card, read on 4 November 2026, and 0.5% for purchases made in the app. Standard UK delivery costs £3.99 and the delivery page names no free-delivery threshold, and the Trustpilot profile of debenhams.com stands at 3.2 out of 5 from 84,220 reviews (read on 4 November 2026).
Note: some links in this article are affiliate links. If you buy through them, Soleback may earn a commission, which we pass on to you as cashback.
Debenhams trades as an online-only department store, according to the Soleback card, which traces the name back to a London textile shop opened in 1778. Today the shop sells fashion, beauty, home, electricals, gifts and sports, and its returns policy names DBZ Marketplace Online Limited as the company behind goods that Debenhams sells itself.
The detail that shapes almost everything below is who sells the item. Products labelled as sold and delivered by Debenhams ship from the shop's own distribution centre. Every other product is a concession purchase managed by the individual brand (returns policy, read on 4 November 2026). Concession items can have fewer delivery options, because next-day delivery excludes all concession brands, and they follow the brand's own return steps. Check the seller label on the product page before you pay.
The Soleback card lists no voucher codes for Debenhams on 4 November 2026. The shop's own banners, which rotate and carry countdown timers, showed these three on the four pages we read:
We have not placed a test order, so we do not know whether any of the three leaves your cashback intact. The Soleback card says orders with codes that are not listed on Soleback are not credited, and none of these three is listed. Practically speaking, a code has to save you more than the cashback would pay before it is worth entering at checkout. The calculations further down show where that line sits.
The footer of every Debenhams page we read invites you to sign up for emails, with consent to marketing from Debenhams and its family of brands. None of those pages states a welcome discount, a minimum order or an expiry date.
Coupon sites say otherwise. Ideal Home's page from September 2025 gives 15% off selected brands on a first order in one answer and 10% off your next purchase in another, and Picodi's Irish page cites 10% for newsletter sign-ups. Those are not Debenhams statements, they are dated, and they contradict each other. Our conclusion is to treat a newsletter discount as unconfirmed until you see the code and its terms in your own inbox. A code that arrives by email is not listed on Soleback, so the cashback rule for unlisted codes applies to it as well.
Debenhams names Student Beans and UNiDAYS in its footer. The Student Beans page, read on 4 November 2026, shows an extra 10% student discount on selected brands, including sale items. It also shows separate student offers: an extra 10% on fragrance, 10% on womenswear, an extra 10% on home and garden, and an extra 10% on beauty when you spend £100 or more, the last one marked as ending on 8 November.
The brand exclusion list is long, and it matters for trainers: Nike and adidas Originals are excluded, as are Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste, Dune London, Boohoo and Karen Millen. We did not read the UNiDAYS terms, so we cannot say how that offer differs. A student code comes from Student Beans, not from Soleback, so the cashback rule for unlisted codes applies here too.
The coupon site Savoo also lists a 10% Blue Light Card discount, which the site marked as verified on 20 July 2026. We have not confirmed it on the shop's own pages.
We do not copy third-party codes into this article. Three findings explain why:
Most of the saving at Debenhams in November comes from sale pricing, not from codes. On 4 November the shop's menu and banners carried these labels:
The Soleback card shows no separate cashback rate for sale items and does not name sale purchases among the cases where cashback is not credited. Our reading is that the standard 1.5% applies, but we have not confirmed it with a test order.
Debenhams says Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November, and its page (read on 4 November 2026) says the Black Friday deals are already live and run until 6 December, through Cyber Monday and Cyber Week. Three points from that page:
The page does not say whether prices fall further on 27 November itself. You can open the Debenhams Black Friday page after you activate cashback on the Soleback card.
The shop's menu lists trainers for women, men and kids, and its sports brand list on 4 November included adidas, Nike, Puma, Reebok and Skechers. The shoes menu also names Clarks, Crocs, FitFlop, Havaianas, Kurt Geiger, Steve Madden and others. We did not check stock, sizes or prices of specific models. Two things apply to sneaker buyers: Nike and adidas Originals are excluded from the student discount, and a pair sold by a concession brand follows that brand's return process rather than the shop's returns portal.
The Soleback card shows 0.5% for app purchases against 1.5% for browser sessions. The same card also lists purchases made in the shop's app, instead of the browser session where you activated cashback, among the cases that are not credited. That is a tension on the card itself, and we cannot tell from the card which reading is right.
Our conclusion is to buy in the browser session where you activated cashback. At 1.5% against 0.5%, the browser route is worth £1.00 more on a £100 basket. Coupon sites mention app-only discounts, such as an extra 10% on fashion and beauty, but we did not find that offer on the shop's own pages, and the card lists app purchases among the cases that are not credited.
The delivery page, read on 4 November 2026, lists these UK prices per order:
The page marks every option except Premium DPD Next Day as free with Debenhams Unlimited. It also warns that some methods are not available for products from brand partners, and that those products may take longer. Some Northern Ireland parcels travel via the Republic of Ireland because of the carrier's ferry connection.
Our calculation, based on the page's wording: on a £30 basket, Supersaver at 99p saves £3.00 against standard at £3.99, and the InPost Locker at £2.49 saves £1.50 against standard. We have not placed an order to confirm that the 99p price applies at checkout.
The shop says it cannot change an order after you place it, because the warehouse starts processing it within seconds. You place another order or return the unwanted items.
Under the returns policy, customers in the UK and the EEA keep a 14-day right to cancel after receiving the goods, and the policy points to [email protected] for cancellations. For faulty items, contact the shop within 30 days of receiving your order and send your name, order number, product name and code, a photo of the fault and a description (furniture also needs the part number). Customer care is open from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week. If the wrong item arrives, wait until you have spoken to customer care before you return anything.
You have 21 days from the day you receive your order to send an item back (returns page and FAQ, read on 4 November 2026). The shop deducts the return fee automatically from your refund. The fees by drop-off route are:
Refunds can take up to 14 days after the shop processes your return, and your bank can take up to 5 more days. The shop does not offer a printed delivery note any more, so returns start in the portal. For items sold by Debenhams itself, the steps are:
Keep separate orders in separate parcels, because returning more than one order in a single parcel can delay your refund. Clothing and footwear must be unworn and unwashed with labels attached, and footwear must be tried on indoors. For hygiene reasons, the shop does not refund fashion face masks, cosmetics, pierced jewellery, swimwear or lingerie if the seal is broken. Furniture must be unassembled and in its original packaging. The policy also reserves the right to withhold refunds and block accounts where it suspects fraud, including returns of used or worn items.
If the product page does not label an item as sold and delivered by Debenhams, you return it to the brand that supplied it, using the delivery note in the parcel or the link in the returns portal. The shop charges a one-off return fee from £2.49 for concession items, however many parcels or partners are involved. For an order that mixes Debenhams items and concession items, a £2.49 fee applies per parcel of Debenhams items on top.
If you ordered from several concession partners, each item goes back to its own partner. Purchases made in the shop's Beauty store must be returned to the store, and products bought online can only be returned online. This is where reviewers complain most: several recent Trustpilot reviews describe having to email a concession seller for a label.
Debenhams does not offer an exchange facility. You return the item and reorder. Using the fees above, the cheapest round trip is an InPost return at £2.49 plus a new order delivered to an InPost Locker at £2.49, a total of £4.98. The dearest is an Evri or Royal Mail return at £2.99 plus standard delivery at £3.99, a total of £6.98. If the FAQ's £1.99 return fee applies instead, the cheapest round trip falls to £4.48. The pages do not say whether the original delivery charge is refunded, and the cashback on the returned order is cancelled.
The returns page says orders placed between 30 October and 15 December can be returned for a full refund until 5 January 2027. Items must reach the shop on or before 5 January, and they must be unused, unworn, in original packaging with tags and proof of purchase. Standard exclusions apply, including personalised goods, intimate apparel, pierced jewellery and items marked as final sale. Orders placed after 15 December go back to the 21-day window.
Our conclusion: the festive return window and the 60-90 day cashback approval period run side by side. A gift bought in November and returned in January cancels its cashback, so settle on the gift before you count on that cashback.
The returns portal lets you choose store credit instead of a refund to your original payment method. The policy says store credit adds 20% to your refund price, with the return cost deducted from the full amount, and the credit is valid for 90 days. The FAQ describes a faster refund to a gift card for the same choice.
Three limits apply. The choice cannot be changed once you make it, and it applies to every later return from the same order. Customers who paid with store credit or a gift card do not get the 20% extra. And a concession brand's refund is not covered: you only receive credit for the Debenhams part. Orders partly paid with a gift card are also among the cases where Soleback does not credit cashback.
The delivery page marks most options as free with Debenhams Unlimited, but the pages we read do not state its price. Several coupon sites (Groupon, Who What Wear, Savoo and Discoup) give £14.99 for a year. At that price and the official £3.99 standard fee, Unlimited pays for itself after four standard orders (four orders cost £15.96), or after three next-day orders at £5.99 (£17.97). That is our calculation and it rests on the unconfirmed £14.99.
Debenhams Deliver+ is a separate protection product, administered by Seel. The shop describes extended return windows, cover for parcels stolen after delivery and compensation if an order does not arrive within 10 days. The returns page says Deliver+ adds 14 days to the 21-day window, while the FAQ says seven additional days, so we cannot tell you which is right. We did not find the price. Under Deliver+ returns, you pay the return shipping unless you bought the Return Shipping add-on.
Discoup's page, reviewed on 6 July 2026, describes the Beauty Club as 3 to 5 points per £1 spent on beauty plus a birthday discount of up to 20% by tier, with the first 500 points tied to qualifying beauty spend. We did not find the scheme's terms on the shop's pages.
The Soleback card says Debenhams accepts common credit and debit cards, PayPal and flexible payment methods. The shop's footer names Clearpay, Klarna, PayPal, DebenhamsPay+, the Debenhams Mastercard and gift card balances, and a banner says Clearpay is available at checkout. We have not placed an order, so we cannot say which methods your basket will offer. If you pay partly with a gift card, Soleback does not credit the cashback.
The Soleback card describes Debenhams as an online retailer, and a coupon site says the physical stores closed in 2021. The returns policy still refers to a Beauty store, and the footer links a Beauty Showroom. We found no address or opening hours for either, so we do not give them. We could not confirm whether you can collect or return in person.
Soleback lists 740+ partner shops (home page read on 4 November 2026). The Debenhams card, read on the same day, shows these rates:
The card gives these terms:
The card lists these cases as not credited:
The card shows "last updated 16 April 2026" in its details, although the page heading says November 2026. We read the rate itself on 4 November 2026.
These examples use a £100 basket, which is an example and not a price read in the shop. We assume cashback is calculated on the amount you pay, which we have not confirmed.
The Trustpilot profile for debenhams.com, read on 4 November 2026, shows 3.2 out of 5 from 84,220 reviews, with 48,899 of them from the last 12 months. The split is polarised: 41% give five stars, 6% four, 3% three, 4% two and 46% one star. The company replied to 49% of negative reviews, typically within a month, and it invites customers to review.
Trustpilot's own AI summary, based on 48,330 reviews, says reviewers find the site easy to navigate with a wide selection, and many report orders arriving within a couple of days in secure packaging. The same summary lists the complaints: automated customer service that is slow to resolve missing or incorrect items, delays and parcels left in insecure places. The recent reviews we read, dated 5 to 19 October 2026, repeat those themes and add damaged items and the concession return process.
Two honest caveats. Trustpilot does not fact-check reviews, and a marketplace profile collects complaints about partner sellers as well as about the shop itself. A separate Trustpilot profile titled Debenhams belongs to a different domain (faith.co.uk) and shows 1.3 from 237 reviews, so do not mix it up with the debenhams.com figures.
Before you order, activate cashback on the Debenhams card at Soleback, buy in the same browser session on Debenhams, then check the current Soleback promotions and the help centre if your cashback does not appear within 48 hours.
