LEGO Pokémon 2027: announcements, set numbers and release dates

LEGO has officially confirmed only one thing for 2027: five new sets in the SMART Play line, shown as silhouettes without names. The three 18+ collector sets for March, namely 72183 Poké Ball, 72184 Charmander and 72185 Snorlax, are so far leaks with no confirmation from the manufacturer. Status as of 6 November 2026.

Note: the set names come from leaks and may change until LEGO confirms them. Treat everything except the five announced SMART Play sets as rumour.

Key points

• Official: five new SMART Play sets for 2027, with no names, dates or prices.
• Leaks: three 18+ sets for March 2027 with the numbers 72183, 72184 and 72185, from 406 to 1156 pieces.
• Prices: no price in pounds has been reported for any of these sets.
• No date: Scorbunny and Eevee evolutions, the Dojo with Riolu and the Stadium Bus.
• Timing: the leak says March, while some sites list February 2027.

What LEGO has confirmed officially

At Pokémon events in 2026, including the Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco, LEGO showed five silhouettes of new SMART Play sets and announced that they will launch in 2027. No names, prices or exact dates were given. Fans guess Charcadet, Grookey, Mankey, Pichu and Wingull, but those are guesses, not a statement from the brand.

March 2027: three 18+ sets (leaks)

The numbers, piece counts and timing come from a leak published on 8 October 2026 on the Instagram account @unibricks. LEGO has not announced any of these sets yet.

• LEGO 72183 Poké Ball: 406 pieces, 18+ collector set, no price in pounds reported. It is said to be much smaller than set 72154, which has more than 2,300 pieces and appeared in 2026.
• LEGO 72184 Charmander: 741 pieces, 18+ collector set, no price in pounds reported. Its scale is said to resemble Munchlax 72150. A smaller Charmander already appeared in SMART Play set 72157.
• LEGO 72185 Snorlax: 1156 pieces, 18+ collector set, no price in pounds reported. According to StoneWars it is the successor to Rayquaza 72168 in scale and price.

No date and unconfirmed

• Scorbunny evolution: SMART Play series (?)
• Update: Eevee evolution, SMART Play series (?)
• Dojo and Riolu: no details
• Stadium Bus: SMART Play series (?)
• Collectible series in sealed boxes (blind boxes) with buildable Pokémon in March 2027: a rumour from got.cooped on Instagram, with no set number and no price in pounds.

We did not find the first four entries in any source we checked on 6 November 2026, so they are the weakest rumours on the list.

Where the sources disagree

The @unibricks leak gives March 2027. The StoneWars table lists February 2027 for the same numbers, although the text of that site says March, and BrickEconomy also expects February 2027. We do not pick the more convenient version: until LEGO makes a statement, assume the launch falls in February or March. The exact release day is not known.

Source reliability

• High: the showing of five SMART Play silhouettes and the announcement for 2027 (reports from Nintendo Life and Softonic).
• Low: the numbers, piece counts and timing of the three 18+ sets. They come from a single Instagram leak that other sites only repeat, so it is not independent confirmation.
• Low: the names of the Pokémon behind the five silhouettes.
• Conclusion: this is our assessment, not a LEGO statement. The direction is certain (more SMART Play and more 18+ sets), but the details may still change.

What to do depending on your situation

• You collect 18+ collector sets: wait for LEGO's official announcement before you plan a budget, because numbers, prices and timing may change.
• You are buying for a child: check whether the set is a SMART Play All-in-One or only a Compatible version. Compatible sets do not include a SMART Brick, which you can get in All-in-One sets such as 72164 or 72167.
• You want the lowest price: do not reserve anything at leaked prices, and compare offers only once pre-orders open.
