PlayStation Direct discount code: DualSense pads £20 off

From Monday 26 October 2026 (start date to be confirmed) to Friday 6 November 2026, until 23:59 local time, PlayStation Direct takes £20 off selected DualSense Wireless controllers in the UK (20 euros in EU shops) when you enter a discount code at checkout, and the promotion is not only for PS Plus members. The general code is B5DS20OFF, and the new market codes take the form DSB520OFF plus a country symbol, for example DSB520OFFGB for the UK. Active PS Plus subscribers can add their 5% from the Member Perks programme. Through Soleback, cashback at PlayStation Direct is up to 2% (shop card read on 27 October 2026), but the card lists accessories at 1%, and orders with codes from outside Soleback may not get cashback. Free delivery starts at 40 euros in the EU shops we read.

Note: the PlayStation Direct store links in this article are affiliate links that go through Soleback. If you buy through them, Soleback may earn a commission, which we pass on to you as cashback.

Key points at a glance

• Offer: £20 off, or 20 euros off in EU shops, on selected DualSense Wireless controllers while stocks last.
• Dates: from Monday 26 October 2026 (start date to be confirmed) to Friday 6 November 2026, until 23:59 local time.
• Who can use it: every customer. The promotion is not limited to PS Plus members.
• PS Plus: active subscribers combine the code with their 5% from Member Perks and get an extra 5% off the promotional price.
• General code: B5DS20OFF.
• Market codes: DSB520OFF plus a country symbol (GB, AT, BE, FR, DE, IT, LU, NL, PT, ES).
• UK code: DSB520OFFGB first, with B5DS20OFF as the fallback.
• UK controllers: all seven are included, among them three editions in the promotion only in the UK (Death Stranding 2 LE, Ghost of Yotei Black, God of War 20th Anniversary).
• EU shops: four controllers (Marathon, Cobalt Blue, Sterling Silver, Volcanic Red).
• Soleback cashback: up to 2%, accessories 1%, and a code from outside Soleback can block tracking.
• Our conclusion: the code gives you £20 straight away, while 1% cashback on a pad costing a few dozen pounds is well under £1, so if you have to choose, choose the code.

The offer: £20 off a DualSense pad in the UK

Customers save £20 in the UK, or 20 euros in EU shops, on selected DualSense Wireless controllers while stocks last. You get the discount with a code entered at checkout. According to our data, the promotion covers only the controllers listed below, not the whole shop.

PlayStation Direct is the official shop of Sony Interactive Entertainment, so you buy directly from the manufacturer rather than from a third-party seller. You will find the shop for your country in the section on shops below.

Promotion dates: 26 October to 6 November 2026, until 23:59

The promotion runs from Monday 26 October 2026 to Friday 6 November 2026, until 23:59 local time. We have the start date marked as "to be confirmed", so in the first days the code may not work in every shop.

Our calculation for time zones: in the UK the shop closes at 23:59 UK local time, and clocks went back on 25 October 2026. Shops on Central European Time (Germany, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Spain) close at 23:59 CET, which is 22:59 UK time. We did not work out the time for Portugal, because we did not confirm that the shop accepts the code there.

Which controllers are included: seven in the UK, four in the EU

UK customers can use the code on seven controllers, while customers in EU shops can use it on only four. Three game-themed editions are in the promotion only in the UK.

UK only:

• DualSense Wireless Controller, Death Stranding 2 LE
• DualSense Wireless Controller, Ghost of Yotei (Black)
• DualSense Wireless Controller, God of War 20th Anniversary

UK and EU:

• DualSense Wireless Controller, Marathon
• DualSense Wireless Controller, Cobalt Blue
• DualSense Wireless Controller, Sterling Silver
• DualSense Wireless Controller, Volcanic Red

Practically that means: if you shop in the UK, all seven pads are in the promotion. If you buy in an EU shop, you get Marathon and three colours (Cobalt Blue, Sterling Silver, Volcanic Red). The Death Stranding 2, Ghost of Yotei and God of War pads are not covered there, even if you see them in the catalogue.

The B5DS20OFF code and ten DSB520OFF market codes

We received two kinds of codes. The first is the general code B5DS20OFF. The second is the new market codes, made up of DSB520OFF and a country symbol:

• United Kingdom: DSB520OFFGB
• Austria: DSB520OFFAT
• Belgium: DSB520OFFBE
• France: DSB520OFFFR
• Germany: DSB520OFFDE
• Italy: DSB520OFFIT
• Luxembourg: DSB520OFFLU
• Netherlands: DSB520OFFNL
• Portugal: DSB520OFFPT
• Spain: DSB520OFFES

We did not confirm in the basket which of the two kinds of codes the shop in each country accepts. The data describes them as different versions, so if one is rejected, try the other, but start with the code for your own country.

Not only for PS Plus: a correction for readers

You will come across descriptions of this deal saying the offer is only for PS Plus members. According to the data we have, that is not true. The discount code works for all customers, and PS Plus subscribers get just something extra: an additional 5% from Member Perks.

Our conclusion: do not buy a PS Plus subscription only to use this promotion. You get the £20 discount, or 20 euros in EU shops, without it.

PS Plus Member Perks: an extra 5% off the promotional price

The shop page in Germany says (read on 27 October 2026) that PS Plus members save 5% every day on selected purchases. According to our data, an active subscriber combines this discount with the code and gets an extra 5% off the promotional price, that is, after the £20 or 20 euros has been taken off.

The order matters: the 5% is calculated on the lower amount, not on the list price. We did not check in the basket how the shop applies the two discounts, so you will see the final amount only at payment.

Which code to enter in the UK: DSB520OFFGB

For the UK, use your own market code, DSB520OFFGB. If the shop rejects it, the general code B5DS20OFF is the fallback. We did not confirm in the basket which of the two the UK shop accepts, so try them in that order.

All seven controllers are included for the UK: the three UK-only editions (Death Stranding 2 LE, Ghost of Yotei (Black), God of War 20th Anniversary) and the four that are also in the promotion in the EU (Marathon, Cobalt Blue, Sterling Silver, Volcanic Red).

Practically that means: choose the UK shop, enter DSB520OFFGB in the field for the discount code, and check that the price has dropped by £20 before you pay. We did not check the name of the field or the delivery terms of the UK shop in the basket.

How to enter the discount code at checkout: four steps

1. Activate cashback on the shop card at Soleback and go to PlayStation Direct using the button, in the same browser.
2. Choose a controller from the list for your country and add it to the basket.
3. At checkout, enter the code in the field for the discount code (we did not check the name of the field). If you are a PS Plus subscriber, sign in with your PlayStation account so the shop can take your membership into account. We did not check this in the basket either.
4. Check that the price has fallen by £20 or 20 euros, and pay in the same session, without closing the tab.

PlayStation Direct shops by country and cashback links

Soleback shop pages exist for all ten markets on the code list (read on 27 October 2026). We have affiliate links for seven of them:

• United Kingdom: buy at PlayStation Direct UK with cashback, Soleback shop card
• Austria: buy at PlayStation Direct Austria with cashback, Soleback shop card
• Germany: buy at PlayStation Direct Germany with cashback, Soleback shop card
• Italy: buy at PlayStation Direct Italy with cashback, Soleback shop card
• Luxembourg: buy at PlayStation Direct Luxembourg with cashback, Soleback shop card
• Netherlands: buy at PlayStation Direct Netherlands with cashback, Soleback shop card
• Portugal: buy at PlayStation Direct Portugal with cashback, Soleback shop card
• France: only the Soleback shop card
• Belgium: only the Soleback shop card
• Spain: only the Soleback shop card

For France, Belgium and Spain we have no active affiliate link, so we did not confirm cashback there. The shop address for Portugal redirected us to the PlayStation site when we read it, so we did not confirm purchasing in that country either.

Delivery: free from 40 euros

The shops in Germany, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands and Luxembourg state on their home pages (read on 27 October 2026) free delivery on orders of 40 euros, subject to conditions. Whether a single pad after the discount reaches that threshold depends on its price after the code, so check it in the basket.

For the UK, France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal we did not read a threshold, so we do not give one.

Returns: 30 days free of charge

The shop page in Germany promises free returns within 30 days. The shop description on the card at Soleback gives the same period. We did not read the full returns policy and its exceptions, so before buying, look at the policy of the shop in your country.

For cashback, a return has one effect: the shop card excludes orders that are cancelled, returned or unpaid.

Availability: while stocks last

The promotion applies while stocks last, so the end date does not guarantee that your chosen colour will be available until 6 November. Limited pads usually disappear fastest, but that is our observation, not shop data.

On 27 October 2026 we read the home pages of the shops in Germany, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Most products in the "Brandheiß" section and similar ones were marked unavailable, and the pages showed a message that these items cannot be bought right now. We do not know whether the reason is stock, age verification or page loading. We also did not confirm a visible promotional price on the controllers from the list.

Cashback at PlayStation Direct: up to 2% through Soleback

The shop card at Soleback (the Austria and Germany pages, read on 27 October 2026, card last updated on 23 October) gives these rates:

• 2%: games
• 2%: Software Collectors edition
• 1%: Limited Edition Freedom DualSense edition
• 1%: PlayStation Portal 30th Anniversary
• 1%: accessories
• 0.5%: consoles
• 0.25%: Shapes of Play

The card does not list the controllers from this promotion separately. Our conclusion: they are accessories, so expect 1%, but we did not confirm the category. The pages for the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Spain and Portugal show the same peak of up to 2%. We did not compare rates category by category there.

Conditions from the shop card:

• Tracking: usually 1-48 hours
• Approval: 60-90 days
• Minimum payout: 5 euros
• Reporting missing cashback: within 28 days

Cashback will not be credited when:

• you buy in the shop's mobile app instead of in the browser session where cashback was activated,
• the order uses a discount code from outside Soleback,
• after activation you visit a price comparison site or another cashback service,
• an ad blocker or tracking protection blocks the affiliate redirect,
• the order is cancelled, returned, unpaid or partly paid with a gift card.

Discount code versus cashback: what you could lose

Three findings:

1. The shop card at Soleback shows 0 discount codes for PlayStation Direct on every page we read. Neither B5DS20OFF nor the DSB520OFF codes are therefore on the Soleback list.
2. The card excludes orders with codes from outside Soleback. The codes from this promotion come from the shop, so we cannot guarantee that cashback will be credited.
3. We did not test this in the basket, so we do not know whether the code really blocks tracking. This is a risk, not a confirmed rule.

Our conclusion: with a discount of £20 or 20 euros, losing cashback does not change the bill. The code saves you money immediately, while cashback on one pad is a fraction of that amount.

Discount, PS Plus and cashback together: three calculations

The figures below are a hypothetical example. We do not know the list price of the controllers in the promotion, so we assume 69.99 euros for a pad covered by the promotion in an EU shop.

• Without PS Plus: 69.99 euros minus 20 euros is 49.99 euros.
• With PS Plus: 5% of 49.99 euros is 2.50 euros, so you pay about 47.49 euros. The total saving is 22.50 euros.
• Cashback: at a rate of 1% credited on 49.99 euros, you get about 0.50 euros. That is far below the minimum payout of 5 euros, so this one purchase is not enough for a payout.

For the UK the mechanics are the same, only the discount is £20.

Currencies: pounds and euros, no conversion

The shop settles purchases in the currency of the country: pounds in the UK and euros in the other countries. That is why in this article UK amounts are given in pounds and amounts for EU shops in words, as euros. We do not convert them. The currency of the actual transaction is the shop's currency, and any conversion is set by your bank or card issuer.

Where the sources disagree

• PS Plus: data from the editorial team says the code works for everyone and PS Plus gives only an extra 5%. An earlier description of this deal at Soleback (the Germany shop card, read on 27 October 2026) claimed the offer was only for PS Plus members. We go with the version from the data, and the description needs correcting.
• Price: the same earlier description gave a price of 64.50 euros against a list price of 84.50 euros. On the home page of the shop in Germany another special edition costs 84.99 euros, so we do not know whether 84.50 euros is the exact price of the pad in the promotion.
• Codes: the general B5DS20OFF and the DSB520OFF market codes have different forms, and the data does not say which works in which country.
• Start: Monday 26 October 2026 is marked "to be confirmed".
• Availability: the home pages of the shops showed products as unavailable, while the data speaks of a promotion while stocks last.

How reliable the sources are

• High: the home pages of the PlayStation Direct shops (40 euro delivery threshold, 30-day returns, 5% for PS Plus) and the shop cards at Soleback (cashback rates, conditions).
• Medium: data on codes, the controller list and dates. We did not test the codes in the basket, and the start is "to be confirmed".
• Low: descriptions of the deal that do not match the data, including the sentence about the PS Plus restriction.
• Conclusion: treat the codes and dates as untested in the basket and check the final price at payment.

What to do depending on your situation

• You live in the UK: choose the UK shop, enter DSB520OFFGB, and if it is rejected try B5DS20OFF. All seven controllers are included, and the price should fall by £20.
• You have PS Plus: enter the code, sign in with your PlayStation account and check in the basket whether the extra 5% has been added.
• You do not have PS Plus: enter the code and buy without a subscription. 5% of a pad costing a few dozen pounds is a few pounds, so the subscription alone would not pay for itself.
• You want the Death Stranding 2, Ghost of Yotei Black or God of War 20th Anniversary pads: the promotion covers them only in the UK.
• You are buying in an EU shop: the promotion gives you Marathon, Cobalt Blue, Sterling Silver and Volcanic Red.
• The code does not work: check the country of the shop, the spelling, whether the promotion has started yet, and try the other kind of code.
• Cashback matters to you: activate it before buying, but remember that a discount code may block it. With a discount of £20 or 20 euros, the code wins.
• You are buying in France, Belgium or Spain: we have no affiliate link here, so we did not confirm cashback.
• You are buying several pads: we found no limit on quantity in the data, so check the terms of the promotion in the shop.

Before you order, activate cashback on the Soleback shop card (or on the card for your country from the list above), buy in the same session, and then look at the current promotions and at help if cashback does not appear within 48 hours. Want to catch codes automatically? Try the Soleback browser extension and the list of discount codes.
