AFEW discount code 2026: codes, raffle, shipping, returns and cashback

There is no AFEW STORE discount code that works for every order. This article covers the CLD22 code, newsletter and student offers, the raffle, shipping, returns, Trustpilot and up to 4.5 per cent Soleback cashback.

As of 26 October 2026, AFEW STORE has no discount code that applies to every order. Three offers are confirmed: the promo code CLD22 with 22 per cent off selected items (valid until 31 October 2026 according to the Soleback card), a newsletter voucher for 10 per cent and a student discount via Student Beans, the size of which the shop does not state. Through Soleback you get up to 4.5 per cent cashback at AFEW STORE in October 2026, and 2.5 per cent on special releases and sale items. On top of that come free shipping from 70 euros and 4.2 out of 5 stars from 1,102 reviews on Trustpilot. We read all the details on 26 October 2026 on the shop pages, in the help centre, on Trustpilot and on the shop's Soleback card.

What is AFEW STORE and why is the shop well known in the sneaker scene

AFEW STORE is a sneaker and streetwear retailer from Düsseldorf, run since 2008 by the brothers Andy and Marco. The shop on Oststraße in the Japanese Quarter was originally called "Schuh-You". On 16 July 2011, after a refit, it reopened as AFEW STORE, and in 2017 the shop floor was more than doubled in size again.

AFEW is known for collaborations with brands such as ASICS, Nike, adidas, Diadora and KangaROOS and for projects with local partners, for example Fortuna Düsseldorf. The family business also runs an online shop at de.afew-store.com and its own brand Afew Goods, which aims to combine streetwear with a traceable supply chain.

Is there a valid AFEW discount code today?

There is no code for every order. On 26 October 2026 the shop was running these promotions:

Autumn sale: 22 per cent off selected items with the code CLD22, the banner on the home page leads to the flash sale collection
Soleback card: the same code as a "22 per cent Flash Sale" coupon, valid until 31 October 2026
Newsletter: 10 per cent welcome voucher when you sign up

In practice that means: the code only applies to selected items, not to the whole shop, and according to Soleback it ends in five days. Check in the basket whether the discount really applies to your items. You can find current Soleback coupons under discount codes at Soleback.

AFEW newsletter: 10 per cent welcome voucher

The shop promotes a welcome voucher for 10 per cent for newsletter sign-ups on the home page and on product pages. Release news and special deals come with it.

Discount: 10 per cent according to the shop page
Minimum order value: the page we read does not state one
Validity period: the page we read does not state one
Exclusions: not specified, we do not expect it to apply to raffle items

Our conclusion: the voucher comes from AFEW and not from Soleback. Under the Soleback rule on codes that do not come from Soleback, it can cost you the cashback. Decide before paying whether 10 per cent off or up to 4.5 per cent cashback is worth more to you (calculation further below).

AFEW student discount via Student Beans

AFEW works with Student Beans for its student discount. After verification you get a personal code for the checkout.

Third-party source: one page names 15 per cent, with low reliability and without confirmation from AFEW
Cashback: the code does not come from Soleback, so the tracking may fail (our reading)

How high the discount is only becomes clear after you register with Student Beans. Then weigh it against the cashback.

Discount codes on voucher sites: what is behind them

Deal portals such as Schnäppchenfuchs and DealDoktor list time-limited codes for AFEW. For 2026 they document, for example, 25 per cent off selected ON items in February and a flash sale with 15 per cent in July. These codes have expired.

Three takeaways:

AFEW runs short, time-limited promotions several times a year, and no permanent code exists.
Most codes only apply to selected items or brands.
A code from a voucher portal can block the Soleback cashback.

That is why we do not pass on codes from deal sites. The voucher page shows which coupons Soleback itself lists for AFEW.

AFEW Sale: discounts without a code

The sale has its own section in the shop menu. There you will find the AFEW Sale with the subsections Footwear Sale, Apparel Sale, Accessories Sale, Men Sale and Women Sale. In the footer AFEW also links to a Sneaker Sale, a Nike Sale and an adidas Sale.

Examples of reduced items, prices read on 26 October 2026:

The cashback tier is counterintuitive: for sale items the Soleback card gives 2.5 per cent instead of 4.5 per cent. In these examples the sale discount does not automatically make up for that, and the calculation is in the section on combining discounts and cashback.

AFEW Black Friday 2026: what is known

In 2026 Black Friday falls on 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday on 30 November. On 26 October 2026 we could find no specific AFEW promotion for it, either in the shop or in search results. A deal portal reports an earlier Black Week at AFEW with 25 per cent off via a voucher code until 29 November. The year of that promotion could not be determined from the text we retrieved, so it is no evidence for 2026.

What follows from this: do not wait for Black Friday if you want something specific now. Whether Soleback will get a higher cashback tier at AFEW for Black Friday is not stated on the card. Soleback collects current notices under promotions.

AFEW Raffle: how to take part

AFEW raffles off limited releases. You can find an overview of all current raffles directly in the AFEW Raffle section. This is how taking part works according to the product page:

You follow AFEW on Instagram (@afewstore).
You choose your size, enter your Instagram name, confirm the terms of participation and click "Enter Raffle".
At the checkout you give your delivery details. You do not need payment details yet, but you do need a PayPal account, because winners pay via PayPal.
Straight after the checkout you receive a confirmation of entry by email.
Within 24 hours a second email follows with a PayPal link. There you confirm your PayPal account within 3 hours and choose the payment method. Only then is your entry valid.
After the raffle ends you learn by email whether you have won. If you win, AFEW collects the money from your PayPal account, otherwise the order is cancelled.
Shoes you have won are shipped, and you receive the tracking link by email.

At the PayPal step an open order appears in your account, but nothing is debited yet. The money stays with you until you have won. If you win in Germany, you can also collect the order in the shop in Düsseldorf.

Typical raffle mistakes and how to avoid them

Entering several times: one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries are disqualified.
Using bots: if there is a clear suspicion of automated programs, AFEW excludes the entry and bans you from future raffles run through AFEW.
Missing the PayPal link: if you do not confirm it within 3 hours, you lose your entry and have to enter again.
Not finding the email: check the spam folder first. If the second email is missing there too, add the address [email protected] to your email provider's whitelist and enter again.
Arriving too late: entry is possible until one minute before the raffle ends at the latest.
Hoping for a reservation: there is no reservation for raffle items.
No Instagram account: AFEW requires one. You will have to create one.

Raffle releases checked: why no code helps

On 26 October 2026 the Saucony x AFEW ProGrid Omni 9 "TARA HAWK" was the raffle product in the shop. The product page gives a price of 189.99 euros (including VAT, plus shipping), the article number S71049-1, the colour Black and a release on 7 November 2026 at 0:00. According to the size chart, sizes run from EU 36 to EU 48. The design is inspired by the tarantula hawk wasp: prismatic colour shifts, a collar of pony hair, a transparent TPU heel window and an orange TPU upper.

Price: fixed, 189.99 euros, a discount is not provided for raffle items
Codes: we found no code for raffle items (our conclusion: a discount code does not help here)
Status: the page shows a release date in the future and, at the same time, a note that the raffle results are currently being sent out by email

We read this as meaning that entry was already closed when we looked (our conclusion, AFEW does not state it). So check for yourself before trying whether the "Enter Raffle" button is still active. That Sole Retriever lists AFEW with 457 past raffles shows how regularly such promotions run. The figure comes from a third-party source and is not confirmed by AFEW.

Cashback on the raffle: for special releases the Soleback card gives 2.5 per cent. We have not checked whether a raffle win falls under that, or whether the cashback session still works when days pass between entry and payment. Do not count on it.

AFEW App: is there one?

We could not confirm an official AFEW App on 26 October 2026. There is no reference to an app in the shop menu, the footer or the help centre, and a search for an AFEW App in the App Store or on Google Play turned up no matching result. That is a finding from what we read, not proof that there never was one.

For cashback: should AFEW ever offer an app, a purchase there does not count according to the Soleback card. So buy in the browser.

Shipping costs to Germany: free from 70 euros

At the top of the page the shop states free shipping to Germany from 70 euros. The shipping table shows 4.99 euros for this DHL tier for goods worth up to 69.99 euros and 0 euros from 70 euros.

All orders to the UK are subject to customs duty. That fits the Trustpilot complaints about extra costs on deliveries abroad. The countries for the individual tiers were not assigned in the page text we retrieved, and for Germany we rely on the statement at the top of the page.

AFEW STORE is a German shop and charges in euros. The prices, thresholds, shipping costs and returns described in this article apply to delivery to Germany and can differ for your country.

Delivery time, carriers and tracking

Damaged boxes are one of the criticisms on Trustpilot. The second box is meant to prevent exactly that, but the reviews show that it happens.

AFEW Stores: one shop in Düsseldorf

There is one AFEW Store: Oststraße 36, 40211 Düsseldorf, in the Japanese Quarter. According to the shop it is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11 to 19 hours. You can reach the telephone hotline Monday to Friday from 9 to 12 hours on +49 211 22 96 08 66, or by email at [email protected].

The shop is more than a sales room: magnetic walls turn it into a gallery or event space, media columns show the available sizes after you scan a shoe and let you order pairs from the warehouse, and a Japanese rock garden refers to the neighbourhood. There are events several times a year, and AFEW posts information about them on Facebook.

Click & Collect: choose "Collection at the Düsseldorf store" at the checkout; raffle wins from Germany can also be collected in the shop
Payment in the shop: the shop's own rules apply. If the online reservation does not suit you or you make a complaint about the item, you get a voucher but no money back

On further locations: a company directory lists a shop called AFEW GOODS in Tokyo (Harajuku). This is a third-party source with low reliability, and we found nothing on it at afew-store.com. It makes no difference for your order in Germany.

Payment methods at AFEW STORE

According to the help centre, AFEW accepts these payment methods:

PayPal: compulsory for the raffle
Google Pay and Apple Pay: for Apple Pay you have to use the Safari browser
Credit card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and UnionPay
Payment in the shop: as a reservation for collection

The card is charged immediately after the order, and a refund takes roughly 1 to 7 working days. Shipping costs do not depend on the payment method.

Returns from Germany: 14 days and 2.95 euros

You have 14 days from receipt of the goods to send them back. The goods must arrive undamaged, unworn and in the original packaging. Hygiene items are excluded, and AFEW does not accept worn shoes or goods with signs of use, in which case there is no refund either. A loss in value is only at your expense if you used the goods more than was necessary to inspect them.

This is how it works within Germany:

Create a DHL return label, either in your AFEW customer account under "Orders" or, without an account, via AFEW's DHL form. You print the label yourself or have it printed with a QR code at the DHL branch.
Fill in the return form from the order and enclose it. According to AFEW it is a recommendation, not a condition for the withdrawal.
Hand the parcel in at DHL.
After it arrives, AFEW checks the goods and refunds the purchase price. This can take up to 14 working days after arrival.

The catch: AFEW charges 2.95 euros for return costs and deducts them directly from the refund. The shop justifies this with fewer unnecessary returns and lower prices instead of a surcharge on all items. If you want a carrier other than DHL, write to [email protected], and AFEW will check this within 2 days.

International returns and returns in the shop

For orders from outside Germany you enclose the return form and send the parcel with a carrier of your choice to the warehouse in Düsseldorf. You bear the cost of the return yourself, and it depends on the country you send from.

Bought in the shop: 14-day right of return on presentation of the receipt, but only for a voucher or other goods, no refund of the purchase amount
Bought online, handed in at the shop: possible, but on the spot you get neither money nor other goods back; the return goes to the central warehouse, and no return fee applies

No exchange: what a wrong size costs

The returns page only talks about returns and refunds and does not mention a size exchange. A Trustpilot review from 19 September 2026 states explicitly that an exchange for another size is not possible and that sending the item back costs money. Another from 17 September 2026 describes a size exchange as unproblematic. We assume a return plus a new order (our conclusion).

Waiting time: the refund can take up to 14 working days after arrival, and the new size may be sold out by then

A Trustpilot review from September 2026 points out that a shoe runs small and that a note about this was missing. If you are unsure, look at the size chart on the product page and factor in the 2.95 euros.

Range: brands and the own brand Afew Goods

The range runs from sneakers to streetwear and accessories. The brand list in the shop includes Nike, Air Jordan, adidas Originals, ASICS, New Balance, Puma, Reebok, Saucony, Converse, Autry Action Shoes, Birkenstock, Salomon, ON Running and Carhartt WIP, among others. Clothing brands such as Patta, Satisfy, The North Face and Lacoste come on top. As is usual with retailers, availability changes by size and season, so the brands are not a promise of stock.

Afew Goods is the own brand for streetwear with a focus on sustainability.

Cashback at AFEW STORE with Soleback: up to 4.5 per cent

Soleback offers cashback in more than 710 partner shops, and AFEW STORE (Germany) is one of them. The card gives these tiers for AFEW, read on 26 October 2026:

Standard: up to 4.5 per cent
Special releases: 2.5 per cent
Sale: 2.5 per cent

On goods worth 100 euros that is 4.50 euros or 2.50 euros. The heading of the card says October 2026, but it gives 16 April 2026 as the last update. So expect deviations and take another look at the AFEW card at Soleback before buying.

Conditions:

Credit: usually within 1 to 48 hours as pending
Confirmation: at AFEW 60 to 90 days, because the shop waits for returns and cancellations
Payout: from 5 euros
Missing cashback: report within 28 days

There is no cashback in these cases:

purchase in the shop's mobile app instead of in the browser session in which you activated the cashback
orders with discount codes that do not come from Soleback
visiting a price comparison site or another cashback service after activation, because that overwrites the tracking
ad blockers or tracking protection that block the redirect
cancelled, returned or unpaid orders, as well as partial payment with a gift card

In practice that means: activate the cashback in the browser in which you also pay, and complete the purchase in the same session. The Soleback extension takes care of the activation for you. And if you are new to Soleback, take a look at the welcome bonus.

Combining discount and cashback without losing anything

The code CLD22 is listed on the Soleback card and so, under the rule on third-party codes, does not count as a third-party code (our conclusion). With codes from deal sites, from forums and, in our reading, also with the newsletter voucher and the student code, the tracking can fail. We found no birthday discount or points programme on the shop pages we read. We cannot rule out either, but we do not confirm them either.

Our calculation (prices read on 26 October 2026, cashback calculated on the amount paid, which is our assumption, as the card does not state the basis of calculation):

Birkenstock Boston for 164.99 euros at full price: 4.5 per cent cashback is 7.42 euros, shipping free
adidas WMNS Handball Spezial for 104.99 euros (previously 109.99 euros): at 2.5 per cent sale cashback it is 2.62 euros, shipping free; whether this item counts as "sale" only shows when the credit arrives
A shoe at a normal price of 100 euros (worked example, not a shop price) with CLD22: 22 per cent off gives 78 euros; at 2.5 per cent cashback about 1.95 euros comes back, so together a benefit of 23.95 euros compared with 4.50 euros cashback without a code

Our conclusion: for an item to which a 22 per cent code applies, the code is worth more than the cashback, as long as it does not block the cashback. For goods at full price without a suitable code, the cashback is the only benefit. In both cases, pay in the same browser session in which you activated the cashback.

AFEW Trustpilot: 4.2 out of 5 from 1,102 reviews

AFEW STORE has good reviews on Trustpilot. On 26 October 2026 the shop stood at 4.2 out of 5 stars, which Trustpilot classes as "Good". The basis is 1,102 reviews, of which 124 are from the last twelve months. 77 per cent of the reviews have five stars, 3 per cent four, 2 per cent three, 2 per cent two and 16 per cent one star. That is a good profile, but not a flawless one: roughly one review in six is negative.

Praised: large selection, clear filters, good sale promotions, fast and well-packed delivery
Criticised: damaged boxes, missing accessories, dirty shoes, extra costs on deliveries abroad, support and returns rules
Replies: according to Trustpilot, AFEW replies to all negative reviews, usually within a week
Profile: claimed by the company since May 2020
Recent: the reviews from October 2026 are mostly about fast delivery and an uncomplicated return

Trustpilot also notes that AFEW has not recently invited customers to leave reviews and that the reviews may therefore not be representative. Another country view showed 4.1 from 1,029 reviews in search, and we use the German page with its retrieval date.

Our conclusion: on delivery, selection and prices the reviews are mostly good. The weak points are size changes, return costs and deliveries abroad.

Where the sources contradict each other

Size exchange: a Trustpilot review from 19 September 2026 says exchanging for another size is not possible and sending the parcel back costs money. Another, from 17 September 2026, describes a size exchange as straightforward. The official returns page only talks about returns and refunds. We assume return plus a new order (our conclusion).
Raffle status: the product page gives 7 November 2026 as the release and at the same time shows that results are being sent out.
Trustpilot figures: the German page showed 4.2 out of 5 from 1,102 reviews on 26 October 2026. Another country view showed 4.1 from 1,029 reviews in search. We use the German page with its read date.
Cashback card: heading October 2026, last update 16 April 2026.
Shipping table: in the retrieved text of the shipping page the countries of the individual tiers were not assigned. For Germany we rely on the statement in the page header (free from 70 euros).
Opening hours: an older city guide gives different hours. We use the shop's own statement: Tuesday to Saturday, 11 am to 7 pm.
Founders: the shop names only Andy and Marco. Surnames differ between sources, so we do not give them.

How reliable the sources are

High: AFEW shop pages (home, shipping, returns, payment, store, raffle product page), the AFEW help centre and the Trustpilot profile, each read on 26 October 2026. Cashback terms according to the Soleback card, with the caveat about its update date.
Medium: deal portals (Schnäppchenfuchs, DealDoktor) and Sole Retriever. They show how AFEW runs promotions, and their codes have expired.
Low: company directories, for example on Tokyo.
Conclusion: everything we marked as our conclusion is an assessment, not a fact from the shop.

What to do depending on your situation

You want a limited pair: follow AFEW on Instagram, set up a PayPal account, enter the raffle and confirm the PayPal link within 3 hours.
You are buying at full price: activate the cashback of up to 4.5 per cent and pay without a third-party code.
You are buying in the sale: expect 2.5 per cent cashback and check beforehand whether CLD22 applies to your item.
You have a newsletter or student code: weigh the discount against the cashback before you pay, as both together are not guaranteed.
You have a code from a deal site: leave it out if the cashback matters to you.
You are unsure about the size: check the size chart and factor in the 2.95 euros return fee.
You live near Düsseldorf: try shoes on in the shop on Oststraße or use Click & Collect.
You are waiting for Black Friday: do not count on an AFEW promotion, as none has been announced for 2026.
You want to buy via an app: we did not find an official app, so buy in the browser, otherwise the cashback is lost.
