On 26 October 2026 there is no public New Balance discount code that works for every order on newbalance.co.uk. The one official code is personal: New Balance members get a 15% welcome code for their first order, valid once and on full-price items only. The biggest savings need no code at all: the New Balance outlet lists 823 items with "Deals up to 50%". Standard delivery costs £4.50, is free over £100 and is free for members on every order; returns are free within 30 days. Through Soleback you get 2.5% cashback at New Balance UK, confirmed after 30-90 days.
This guide covers what you should know before searching for a New Balance discount code: which offers New Balance itself publishes, which student discount is real, what coupon sites claim, what delivery and returns cost in the UK, and when the welcome code beats cashback and when it does not. We read newbalance.co.uk, its terms, membership and help pages, the Soleback store page and third-party sites on 26 October 2026. New Balance's UK site blocks automated readers, so we read it through a page-extraction tool; check the key wording again in your browser before you rely on it.
Key points
- Public New Balance discount code for everyone: none found on 26 October 2026
- Welcome code for members: 15% off your first order, full-price items only, single use, not combinable with other promotions, no minimum spend
- Membership extras: free standard shipping on every order, a "special offer" on your birthday and access to member-only offers. It is not a points scheme
- New Balance student discount: 10% via UNiDAYS, 15% via Student Beans, 20% according to HotUKDeals. The three sources contradict each other
- Teachers and military: 15% via ID.me, according to HotUKDeals only
- New Balance outlet: 823 items, headline "up to 50%", most trainers between 20% and 40% off
- Excluded from codes: 1080v15, More v5, SC Elite v6, Rebel v6, Hierro v9, Ellipse, Made in UK, RC56, T500, 471, 204L, 1890, Gator Run and collaborations. Some of these still appear in the outlet with a markdown
- Delivery: £4.50 standard (2-3 working days), free over £100 and for members; £14.50 express (1-2 working days); UPS only
- New Balance returns: free within 30 days of delivery with the prepaid UPS label or in a New Balance store; no exchanges mentioned
- Refunds: at least 10 working days after New Balance receives the parcel, then up to 5 working days to reach your account
- Black Friday 2025: outlet discounts up to 50% without a code; in 2024 the code NBCW25EXTRA took an extra 25% off
- Trustpilot: 1.3 out of 5 from 627 reviews
- Soleback cashback: 2.5%, confirmation after 30-90 days; codes not listed on Soleback can cancel it
Is there a New Balance discount code that works today?
Not a public one. On 26 October 2026 we found no live code on newbalance.co.uk, no code on its terms page and no newsletter percentage offer on the homepage. The only promotion running on the site was a socks deal: "2 for 1 on socks", with the small print "Lower-priced item free. Selected socks only. While stocks last." It has no end date and no code.
What does exist:
- The 15% welcome code, which you receive personally when you become a member and opt in to marketing emails
- Student and profession discounts through third-party verification platforms such as UNiDAYS, Student Beans and ID.me
- Outlet prices, reduced directly on the product page, without a code
- Occasional sale codes such as NBCW25EXTRA at Black Friday 2024 or NBSALE25 in February 2026, which ran for a limited time and are not live now
Coupon sites show a lot of New Balance offers, but none of the UK pages we could read showed an actual code string. Most of their "codes" are the same welcome offer, outlet deals or expired promotions.
The 15% welcome code for New Balance members
This is the only official New Balance discount code you can get at any time. The New Balance help centre puts it this way: "Members receive a 15% off welcome code when they sign up." The conditions, from the membership page and the help article "Welcome Offer UK Only":
- How to get it: create an account and subscribe to New Balance's marketing emails
- Use: a unique code, valid once, "only valid online (newbalance.co.uk)"
- What it covers: "Full-price items only"; collaboration products are excluded
- Minimum spend: "No minimum or maximum spend."
- Combining: "Not combinable with other promotions"
- Expiry: none published
The full-price rule is the key restriction. The code does nothing in the New Balance outlet, and it also does nothing on models from the exclusion list, which covers popular lines such as the 1080v15, the 204L and the 1890. Because it is single use, it makes sense to keep it for your largest full-price order rather than spend it on a pair of socks.
One thing we could not confirm: whether New Balance reissues the code if you return the order you used it on. The help pages do not say.
What New Balance membership gives you beyond the code
New Balance UK calls its programme simply "membership", and it is limited to the UK: "This membership is currently exclusive to those in the UK." The benefits listed on the membership page and in the help centre:
- Welcome offer: "15% off your first order"
- Delivery: "Members get free shipping on all orders." The delivery page specifies free standard shipping
- Birthday: "Members receive a special offer on their birthday." The amount is not published
- Member offers: "Members can shop select offers and promotions."
- Services: a 3D foot scan, events and a Run Product Specialist
New Balance stresses that it is "not a rewards or a loyalty programme that requires an accumulation of points". There are no points to collect, and no early access or app benefit is mentioned on the official pages.
The practical consequence is simple and often missed: if you are a member, you never pay the £4.50 standard delivery, whatever the order value. We found no fee for membership mentioned on the official pages; as far as we can tell, it comes with creating an account. Even if you do not want the marketing emails long term, being logged in as a member removes the delivery charge on small orders.
Welcome code or Soleback cashback? Our calculation
The welcome code is not listed on Soleback, and Soleback's New Balance page excludes "Orders using discount codes not listed on Soleback". So when you use it, you should assume the cashback on that order is lost. The numbers still favour the code on a full-price order. Our calculation, with outlet reference prices from newbalance.co.uk:
- 9060 at full price, £160: the welcome code saves £24 at the checkout, so you pay £136. Cashback alone would be 2.5% of £160, so £4. The code wins by £20
- 2002R at full price, £130: the code saves £19.50; cashback would be £3.25. The code wins by £16.25
- A £40 full-price item: the code saves £6; cashback would be £1. The code still wins, but you have spent your single-use code on a small order
Since 15% is six times 2.5%, the code beats cashback on any full-price basket. Our conclusion is about timing rather than choice: use the welcome code once, on your biggest full-price order, and accept that this one order earns no cashback. Activate Soleback cashback for every order after that.
For outlet items the welcome code does not apply at all, so cashback is the only extra saving there. A 997H at £57 in the outlet earns about £1.43 cashback (2.5% of £57, our calculation). That is less than the £4.50 delivery a non-member pays below £100, which is why being a member matters more than cashback on small outlet orders.
New Balance student discount: 10%, 15% or 20%?
New Balance UK has no student page that we could read: newbalance.co.uk/student-discount/ failed to load, and the help centre lists no student article. The offers come from verification platforms, and they do not agree:
- UNiDAYS GB: "10% Off Full Price", plus a boosted offer "Up To 50% + Extra 10% Off"
- Student Beans UK: "15% Student Discount" with the line "On Full Price & Sale!", and "Up to 50% off outlet + 15% Student Discount"
- HotUKDeals: says students get 20% via UNiDAYS
UNiDAYS itself shows 10%, so the HotUKDeals figure of 20% is not supported by the platform it names. Between the two platforms, Student Beans showed the higher rate and the wider scope on 26 October 2026: 15% including sale items. None of the pages showed an expiry date, and student offers on these platforms change, so compare both before you buy.
The cashback problem applies here too: no student code is listed on Soleback, so a student code can cost you the 2.5%. Our calculation:
- 9060 at £160 with Student Beans 15%: you save £24 and lose about £4 cashback. Net advantage £20
- 9060 at £160 with UNiDAYS 10%: you save £16 and lose about £4 cashback. Net advantage £12
- 997H in the outlet at £57 with Student Beans 15%: you save £8.55 and pay £48.45, against about £1.43 cashback
As a student, the student code wins in every case we calculated. The welcome code and a student code cannot be stacked, because the welcome code is "Not combinable with other promotions". On a full-price order, Student Beans and the welcome code both give 15%; keep the welcome code for later if Student Beans works for you.
New Balance discounts for teachers, military and carers
Three more groups appear on third-party sites, but none of them on newbalance.co.uk:
- Teachers: 15% via ID.me, according to the tips section on HotUKDeals
- Military: 15% via ID.me, also according to HotUKDeals
- Carers: a 10% carers discount appears in the title of an expired HotUKDeals thread
We could not read the ID.me offer pages themselves, so treat these as not confirmed until the verification platform shows them to you. The same rules apply as for students: the code is not listed on Soleback, so cashback is at risk, and it cannot be combined with the welcome code.
New Balance discount codes on HotUKDeals and other coupon sites
HotUKDeals is the only UK coupon site we could read for New Balance. It shows no code strings, only "See Deal" buttons. What it listed on 26 October 2026:
- "Get 15% off your first purchase by signing up for the newsletter", "Valid year-round". This is the official welcome code, but officially you have to create an account as well, not only subscribe
- "Members can enjoy free delivery": the membership benefit
- "Save up to 50% on shoes like the FuelCell Propel v4 and U509V1", "Ends in 8 days": an outlet deal, no code
- "Enjoy up to 40% off selected shoes" and "Enjoy up to 50% off selected accessories": also outlet deals
- Expired: "Spend from £75 onwards on Women Grey Day collection"
The HotUKDeals threads we opened were all expired:
- A "double code stack" with up to 50% off, 15% off for new members and 10% for carers, with 740 trainers at £38.25: "Unfortunately, this deal is no longer available."
- "Extra 40% off Sale Items - With Code": "Unfortunately, this voucher is no longer valid."
- New Balance 1906R at £63.30 with a code: expired; a search snippet says it ended on 30 July 2026
These threads show that extra sale codes do appear from time to time, but they run for a short period. VoucherCodes blocked our access, so its New Balance page is not confirmed. Our conclusion: if a coupon site shows you a "New Balance discount code" today, it is most likely the welcome offer or an outlet link.
How to use a New Balance discount code and why it gets rejected
We could not read the New Balance UK basket, so we cannot confirm exactly where the code field sits. Enter the code in the basket or at the checkout and check that the total goes down before you pay.
If a code is rejected, these are the likely reasons according to the official conditions:
- The item is on the exclusion list: New Balance says these styles "are currently excluded from all discounts, coupons and promotional codes"
- The product page says so: anything with the callout "This product is excluded from all promotions" is excluded too
- The item is reduced: the welcome code is for full-price items only
- You already used it: the welcome code is single use
- Another promotion is active: the welcome code is not combinable
- It is a collaboration: excluded from the welcome code and named on the sale exclusion list
The exclusion list on newbalance.co.uk/sale-exclusions/ names:
- Running: 1080v15, More v5, SC Elite v6, Rebel v6, Hierro v9, Ellipse
- Lifestyle: Made in UK and New Balance's other "Made in" line, RC56, T500, 471, 204L, 1890, Gator Run
- Collaborations: around 45 names, including Aimé Leon Dore, Carhartt, Levi's, Bodega and Ganni
If the trainer you want is on this list, no code will help, and cashback is the only extra saving available.
New Balance outlet: up to 50% off without a code
The New Balance outlet is where most of the money is. On 26 October 2026 newbalance.co.uk/outlet/ was headed "Deals up to 50%", said "Our New Balance outlet online brings you clearance rates of up to 50%." and showed 823 items, 268 of them men's shoes. Prices are already reduced on the product page; no code is needed.
Trainers we saw in the men's outlet:
- 997H: £57 instead of £95, 40% off
- ABZORB 1890: £90 instead of £150, 40% off
- FuelCell Rebel v5: £84 instead of £140, 40% off
- 878: £77 instead of £110, 30% off
- 1906A: £105 instead of £140, 25% off
- 574: £75 instead of £100, 25% off
- 2002R: £104 instead of £130, 20% off
- 9060: £128 instead of £160, 20% off
- 1080v15: £124 instead of £155, 20% off
The 50% figures we saw were on clothing: a Sport Short Sleeve T-Shirt at £15 instead of £30 and a Wide Wale Corduroy Vest at £62.50 instead of £125. For trainers, plan on 20-40%.
The outlet cannot be sorted by discount, only by new arrivals, popularity, price and availability. If you want the deepest reductions, sort by price from low to high and check the percentage on each card.
Excluded models in the New Balance outlet: what that means for you
Two of the trainers above are on the exclusion list: the 1080v15 (20% off in the outlet) and the ABZORB 1890 (40% off). At first sight this looks contradictory. Our reading: the exclusion list is about codes, coupons and promotional codes, not about New Balance's own markdowns. New Balance can reduce an excluded model in the outlet, but you cannot add a code on top.
For you this means:
- An excluded model in the outlet: buy it at the outlet price, without trying to add a student or welcome code
- An excluded model at full price: no code will work; cashback is the only extra
- A non-excluded model in the outlet: Student Beans (15% "On Full Price & Sale!") may work on top, according to Student Beans; the welcome code will not, because it is for full price only
Black Friday at New Balance UK: 2025 and 2024
New Balance had not published anything about Black Friday 2026 when we checked. What happened in previous years, according to Captain Creps:
- Black Friday 2025: on 27 November 2025 Captain Creps reported "over 2,000 outlet items with discounts of up to 50%", for example the NB 1000 at £90 instead of £150. No code was needed. The women's selection followed a day later and, in Captain Creps' words, "has finally dropped, as usual, at the back end of Cyber Week."
- Black Friday 2024: the code NBCW25EXTRA, with Captain Creps writing "There’s now an additional 25% OFF EVERYTHING."
- February 2026: an extra 25% off the sale with the code NBSALE25, also reported by Captain Creps
Our conclusion: in 2025 the Black Friday discount at New Balance UK was mainly a bigger outlet, not a code, and it came late in Cyber Week. Extra codes have appeared in other sales, but none is live on 26 October 2026, and we cannot predict whether one will run in November 2026. If one appears, it will not be listed on Soleback unless Soleback adds it, so the cashback trade-off from the calculations above applies.
New Balance delivery costs: £4.50, free over £100 or for members
The UK delivery options, according to newbalance.co.uk:
- Standard shipping or collection: £4.50, 2-3 working days, "Free with orders over £100, and for members"
- Express shipping: £14.50, 1-2 working days
- Members: "Members receive free standard shipping on every order."
The delivery page says: "New Balance offers FREE delivery on all orders over £100.00." New Balance's other European sites add that the threshold counts after discounts and promotional codes; the UK extracts we read do not repeat that wording, so assume it applies. In practice: a £110 order with the 15% Student Beans code drops to £93.50 and may no longer qualify, unless you are a member, in which case standard delivery is free anyway.
Express delivery is not free for members according to the pages we read; the member benefit refers to standard shipping.
Delivery times, UPS, Access Points and where New Balance does not deliver
- Carrier: "Packages are delivered via UPS."
- Collection: you can send the parcel to a UPS Access Point. It is held for 10 days, and you need photo ID and the tracking number to collect it
- Standard: 2-3 working days; Express: 1-2 working days
- NB1 orders: customised NB1 shoes are made to order, so the standard delivery times do not apply
- Not delivered to: Gibraltar, the Falklands, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Montserrat, the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey
- International: "We do not offer international delivery for items purchased through the Site."
Delivery is the most common complaint about New Balance UK on Trustpilot. One reviewer wrote on 31 July 2026: "8 days since ordering 2 pairs of trainers and they’ve still not been shipped…" Another, on 3 August 2026: "Ordered trainers on 24/06/2026, it is now 03/08/2026 - still not been processed." If you need trainers by a fixed date, leave a margin beyond the 2-3 days.
New Balance returns: 30 days free with UPS
New Balance returns are free in the UK: "you can return your items for free within 30 days of the delivery date of your order." The terms put it as 30 days "of you receiving it", which comes to the same thing.
How to return:
- UPS: "Find your prepaid return label in the original package", then drop the parcel at UPS or arrange a collection
- In store: New Balance stores take web returns; the store finder has a "Web Returns" filter
The conditions:
- State: "The items are returned to us unworn, clean, and free of damage."
- Shoe box: "Footwear is returned in the original shoe box."
- Carrier: "The return is done with our carrier UPS."
- Store purchases: "Items that were bought in a store or at a reseller cannot be returned via the NB websites."
We found no rule excluding outlet items from returns, so outlet purchases appear to follow the same 30-day rule. Membership advertises "Free shipping and returns for members", but returns are free for everyone, member or not.
New Balance refund time and what a wrong size costs
- Processing: "please allow at least 10 working days after we have received the parcel"
- Bank: "Please allow for up to 5 working days for the refund to appear in your account."
- Method: refunds go to the original form of payment
Counting both steps, our calculation is up to 15 working days, about three weeks, from the moment New Balance receives your parcel. So do not count on the money for your next purchase.
Exchanges are not mentioned on the UK returns page. If you need another size, return the pair and place a new order. In money terms, a wrong size costs little: the return is free, and the new order ships free if you are a member or spend over £100. The real costs are time and cashback: Soleback removes cashback on returned items, and if you used the single-use welcome code on the first order, we could not confirm that you get it back. If you are between sizes, check the size guide before you order.
Payment methods at New Balance UK
According to the payment page, New Balance UK accepts:
- Cards: Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Maestro, Amex and JCB
- Apple Pay
- Klarna
- PayPal: "Now you can shop our websites using your PayPal account."
The terms add: "We accept most common credit and debit cards issued in the United Kingdom." Google Pay is not on the list.

Cashback at New Balance with Soleback: 2.5%
On top of the shop's own prices you can get part of your spend back through Soleback. The figures on the New Balance page at Soleback, last updated on 16 October 2026:
- Rate: 2.5% on purchases at New Balance UK
- Tracking: 1-48 hours after the purchase
- Confirmation: 30-90 days, while the shop's return period runs out
- Minimum withdrawal: five euros
- Missing cashback claims: within 28 days
- Voucher codes on Soleback: "No voucher codes available at this time"
Cashback is not paid on:
- Purchases in the store's mobile app instead of the browser session where you activated cashback
- "Orders using discount codes not listed on Soleback": this currently covers the welcome code and student codes
- Visiting a price-comparison site or another cashback site after activating, which overwrites the tracking
- Ad blockers or tracking protection that block the redirect
- "Cancelled, returned or unpaid orders, and orders paid partly with gift cards"
The Soleback page also mentions free shipping and returns for members, which matches New Balance UK. Its line that the loyalty programme "unlocks early access" does not appear on any official New Balance page we read.
To make sure you do not forget the activation, you can use the Soleback browser extension. A new Soleback account also gets a welcome bonus of up to fifteen euros in three stages: three euros once you reach five euros of tracked cashback, four euros at fifteen euros and eight euros at forty-five euros. Only cashback tracked within 45 days of creating the account counts; it is not a bonus on your first purchase.
When cashback is the better choice at New Balance
Cashback wins in the situations where no code can be used:
- Excluded models at full price: 1080v15, 204L, 1890 or a collaboration; no code works, so 2.5% is the only extra
- Outlet orders without a student code: the welcome code never applies to reduced items, so 2.5% on the outlet price is your only extra
- Every order after your first: the welcome code is single use, so from your second order cashback is the ongoing saving
Our calculation for a typical second order: a 1906A from the outlet at £105 earns about £2.63 cashback, standard delivery is free because the order is over £100, and the return would be free too. Small amounts add up across orders, and Soleback pays out once you reach five euros.
New Balance reviews: what UK customers say
On Trustpilot, newbalance.co.uk scores 1.3 out of 5 ("Bad") from 627 reviews, read on 26 October 2026. The recent negative reviews focus on orders that were not shipped or processed for days or weeks, as in the two quotes in the delivery section above. Across New Balance's European shops the complaints follow the same lines: delivery, customer service and product quality.
A Trustpilot score reflects the experience of people who chose to write a review, and unhappy customers write more often. But with 627 reviews the pattern is clear enough to plan for: order early, keep your order confirmation and tracking number, and use the 30-day return window if something is wrong.
Where sources contradict each other
- Student discount: UNiDAYS GB shows 10% on full price, Student Beans UK 15% on full price and sale, HotUKDeals 20% via UNiDAYS
- Welcome code: HotUKDeals calls it a newsletter offer; New Balance requires an account plus email opt-in
- Outlet and exclusion list: the 1080v15 and the 1890 are "excluded from all discounts, coupons and promotional codes", yet they are reduced by 20% and 40% in the outlet. Our reading: the exclusion covers codes, not the outlet markdown
- Outlet headline: "Deals up to 50%" holds for clothing; trainers we saw were reduced by 20-40%
- Early access: the Soleback store page says New Balance's loyalty programme "unlocks early access"; the official membership page mentions no early access
- Free returns for members: advertised as a member benefit, but returns are free for every customer
- Email address: [email protected] on the customer care page, [email protected] in the terms
- Threshold after discounts: stated on New Balance's other European sites, not repeated in the UK extracts we read
How reliable the sources are
- High: delivery costs and times, return rules, refund times, payment methods, seller details and the exclusion list, all from newbalance.co.uk, read on 26 October 2026 through a page-extraction tool because the site blocks direct access. Recheck the exact wording in your browser
- High: the welcome code conditions from the membership page and two New Balance help-centre articles; they agree with each other
- High: cashback rate and conditions from the New Balance page at Soleback
- Medium: student discounts from the UNiDAYS and Student Beans pages, which can change without notice and showed no expiry date
- Medium: Black Friday 2025 and 2024 details from Captain Creps
- Medium: Trustpilot reviews, which reflect individual experiences
- Low: HotUKDeals voucher tips (20% for students, 15% via ID.me) and expired threads without dates
- Own conclusion: the calculations comparing the welcome code, student codes and cashback, and our reading of the exclusion list versus outlet markdowns
What to do depending on your situation
- First full-price order: become a member, use the 15% welcome code on your biggest basket and accept that this order earns no cashback
- You are a student: compare Student Beans (15%, including sale) and UNiDAYS (10% on full price) before you buy; both beat 2.5% cashback
- You want an excluded model: skip the code search, activate Soleback cashback, or look for the model in the outlet
- You are buying from the New Balance outlet: no welcome code applies; be logged in as a member for free delivery and add Soleback cashback
- Order under £100 and you are not a member: create an account before you pay instead of paying £4.50 delivery
- You are waiting for Black Friday: in 2025 the discount was outlet prices of up to 50% without a code, late in Cyber Week
- You are unsure about the size: returns are free, but the refund can take up to three weeks and the returned part loses cashback
- You need the trainers by a date: allow extra time; delays are the main complaint on Trustpilot
- You live in Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man: New Balance UK does not deliver there
Before you order, activate cashback on the New Balance page at Soleback, go to New Balance UK in the same browser session, and see more offers in Soleback promotions and in our sneaker cashback overview.
