ASOS discount code 2026: delivery, returns and up to 1.5% cashback

There is no single ASOS discount code for every order, so delivery at £4.50, returns and cashback decide what you really pay. This guide collects the confirmed delivery, returns and payment rules and the Soleback cashback rates read on 28 October 2026.

On 28 October 2026 there is no single ASOS discount code that works on every order: the ASOS shop card on Soleback lists no verified code, ASOS publishes no percentage for its new-customer offer in the UK, and the one confirmed permanent discount is 10% for students. Through Soleback you can earn up to 1.5% cashback (read on 28 October 2026: 1.5% for new customers, 1% as a second rate and 0.5% for purchases in the app), and UK standard delivery costs £4.50, free over £40. On Trustpilot the shop scores 1.7 from about 192,000 reviews (read on 28 October 2026).

What ASOS is and why it is so well known

ASOS is a British online fashion and beauty shop. According to the shop description on Soleback it was founded in London in 2000 and carries more than 85,000 products. ASOS's own Black Friday page speaks of more than 850 brands alongside its own labels such as ASOS DESIGN, COLLUSION and Topshop. Trainers and sportswear from adidas, Nike, New Balance, Converse and Puma sit next to Timberland, Dr Martens and Crocs.

Is there a working ASOS discount code today?

On 28 October 2026 the Soleback card for ASOS says that no discount codes are available at the moment. The header of the same card still shows a counter of five codes, so two places on one page disagree. Our conclusion: the counter is out of date, because the list itself is empty.

ASOS sets the rules itself: one code per order, no codes on Brand Partner items, delivery charges or gift vouchers, and a return can reduce your refund if the order stops meeting the code's conditions. Codes appear on the site, on social media and sometimes in newsletters.

In practice that means:

What we know: there is no verified code on Soleback today, and ASOS states no permanent first-order code.
What we do not know: how big any first-order or newsletter discount is.
What to do: check the shop card before you pay, and use a code from another site only if its saving clearly beats the cashback you may lose.

Newsletter, first-order offer and birthday code

ASOS pages say newsletters may carry codes, but they state no first-order or newsletter percentage, minimum spend or expiry. We therefore treat all of these as not confirmed. The birthday benefit belongs to ASOS.WORLD members and needs an account; the percentage is not confirmed. The Black Friday page adds that app users and newsletter readers hear start details first.

Student discount: 10% through SheerID

ASOS offers students 10% off, verified through SheerID within up to 48 working hours. You need an account (guests are not eligible) and must be over 16 in full-time or part-time education, which includes apprenticeships. Members of UNiDAYS, Student Beans, TOTUM and Apprentice Extra can enter their own codes. The student discount is not valid on Black Friday deals. The detailed exclusions sit in separate terms that we did not read for the UK.

Voucher-site codes: what is behind them

Coupon sites show codes and promises that we could not find on ASOS pages. We do not repeat their codes, and our three findings from 28 October 2026 are these:

Groupon UK shows stale content from 2019: £3.00 standard delivery, 3 to 5 days and a £30 free-delivery threshold. ASOS now states £4.50, 2 to 4 working days and free over £40.
Search snippets from other coupon sites claim 10% to 15% welcome codes and "21% off". ASOS states no such first-order offer, and we did not read those pages, so these claims stay unconfirmed.
The student 10% on Groupon matches what ASOS states today, but the page's other data is old, so it is not a reliable source.

Sale without a code: up to 80% and prices from 28 October 2026

The women's sale carries a banner with savings of up to 80%. Sections include Winter essentials, Coats & Jackets, Dresses, Jeans, Trainers and Last chance to buy, plus price bands: Sale under £10, under £15, Autumn under £20 and Bestsellers under £40.

Prices read on 28 October 2026 in the sale (they can change):

The Soleback card does not list sale purchases among the cases where cashback is withheld. The exceptions from the card are in the cashback section below.

Black Friday 2026: 27 to 30 November

ASOS has announced Black Friday on 27 November 2026, running through Cyber Monday on 30 November. The page was last updated on 17 September 2026. It promises huge discounts across more than 850 brands, gives no percentage, and says the exact start time is not announced, with app users told first. Three findings:

The student discount does not apply during the event.
The 40% figure we saw applies only to a Face + Body promotion, not to the whole shop.
Look at Soleback promotions just before the event, because cashback rates can change during big sales.

The ASOS app and cashback

The Black Friday page says app users hear the start details first, but we could not confirm a specific app-only discount, because the app page did not load. The Soleback card has a separate 0.5% rate for app purchases and lists purchases made in the app among the cases where cashback is not credited. In practice: if you want cashback, order in the browser session in which you activated it, not in the app.

UK delivery cost: £4.50, free over £40

Data from the ASOS UK help pages, read on 28 October 2026:

Standard: £4.50, free over £40 or with Premier, 2 to 4 working days (Monday to Saturday); outer areas up to 6 working days
Next Day: £5.95, free with Premier on orders of £15 or more after discounts
Nominated Day: £5.95, free with Premier on £15 or more, bookable up to 10 days ahead, unavailable in many postcodes
ASOS Instant AM: £8.95, order by 8pm Monday to Friday and Sunday, or 7pm Saturday, delivery next morning until 12:00
ASOS Instant Evening: £8.95, order by 10am, delivery the same day between 6pm and 10pm, Greater London and the M25 area only
Click & Collect: standard £4.50 (free over £40 or with Premier), express £5.95 (InPost only, 2 working days), Next Day £5.95

A fee can appear despite the threshold because Instant delivery is not covered by Premier. Whether the £40 threshold is measured before or after discounts is not confirmed on the pages we read.

Delivery times, carriers and tracking

Six things ASOS states about fulfilment:

Carriers for collection points: Royal Mail (held 18 days, ID needed), EVRi ParcelShop (held 10 days, code) and InPost (held 72 hours, 6-digit code).
Tracking: a multi-parcel order gets a separate tracking link per parcel, and parcels may arrive on different days.
Standard timing: the main delivery page says 2 to 4 working days, while the Click & Collect page says usually within 3 working days.
Next Day: it can be switched off in busy periods, and then you pick Fastest Delivery.
Excluded postcodes: some postcodes in AB, BF, FK, HS, IM, IV, KW and ZE, and all Guernsey and Jersey, are excluded from Next Day.
Lost parcels: the Where is my order page did not load, so the steps for a missing parcel are not confirmed.

Cancelling or changing an order

After you order you cannot change items, address, delivery option or payment. In My Orders you can cancel a Standard order within 60 minutes. Next Day, Instant and Standard or Express to an InPost locker allow 15 minutes, Brand Partner items 10 minutes and gift vouchers 30 minutes. Nominated Day can be cancelled up to 2 days before the chosen date. Guest orders cannot be cancelled. After the window you can cancel the whole order within 14 days of receipt or return it.

UK returns: 28 days and free, with exceptions

You have 28 days from delivery (from the last parcel of a multi-parcel order). Returns are free if the item is in original condition and meets the fair use policy. The exceptions:

Guest checkout: £3.95 is deducted from every refund.
Fair use, 70% or more returned by value with 3 or more orders in 12 months: £3.95 per parcel, not charged if you keep more than £40 of the order.
Fair use, 80% or more with 5 or more orders: the same plus a £3.95 handling fee.
Faulty or incorrect items: excluded from the fee.

How to return: My Orders, then Create Return, then drop off at the chosen point with the QR code from your email. Some carriers need a printed label, and collection can be booked on a page we did not read. Items must be unworn with tags and original packaging. Hygiene exclusions cover opened Face + Body items, underwear and swimwear with a broken seal, pierced jewellery and face coverings.

Refund timing

A parcel can take up to 10 calendar days to reach the warehouse, and then up to 10 working days for the money to reach your account. The returns policy page says ASOS aims to refund within 14 days of receiving the item, so the two statements differ. The delivery fee is refunded if you return the whole order within 14 days. ASOS can offer an instant voucher, but not always.

Exchanges: only size or colour

ASOS exchanges an item only for a different size ("too big" or "too small") or colour, and only if it is in stock. You must send the old item back within 14 days of the request. Exchanges are not available for guest orders, Brand Partner items, swimwear and underwear.

ASOS Premier: £9.95 for 12 months

Premier costs £4.95 for 3 months or £9.95 for 12 months and needs an ASOS account. It gives free Standard delivery on all orders and free Next Day and Nominated Day on orders of £15 or more after discounts. Instant delivery is not covered. You cannot buy or renew Premier with a return rate above 70% across 3 or more orders. Auto-renewal terms are not confirmed.

Payments

ASOS lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express (not on Brand Partner items), Clearpay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal and Klarna. Some methods involve a soft credit check, and checkout shows what is available. Klarna terms and the use of gift vouchers as a payment method are not confirmed.

Shops

We confirmed no permanent ASOS shop in the UK. Retail Gazette reported in June 2026 that ASOS is looking for a first permanent London site, and an ASOS spokesperson had nothing to share yet. ASOS has run pop-ups before, but this is reported, not confirmed by ASOS.

Cashback with Soleback: up to 1.5%

Rates from the shop card, read on 28 October 2026 (the card is the global ASOS card):

New customer rate: 1.5%
Second rate on the card: 1% (the card does not say who it applies to)
Purchase in the app: 0.5%

Terms from the card:

Crediting: usually 1 to 48 hours
Approval: 60 to 90 days
Minimum payout: 5 euros
Reporting missing cashback: within 28 days

Cashback is not credited when:

you buy in the shop's app instead of the browser session in which you activated cashback,
you use a discount code from outside Soleback,
you visit a price comparison or another cashback site after activating,
an ad blocker or tracking protection blocks the redirect,
the order is cancelled, returned, unpaid or partly paid with a gift card.

The card also shows a last update of 14 August 2026, while its heading says October 2026, so treat the rates as a reading from the date we gave.

Discount and cashback together: three calculations

Three simple calculations on prices read on 28 October 2026:

Miss Selfridge rain jacket at £20.99, down from £52.99: you save £32.00 at the till, and 1.5% cashback adds about £0.31.
ASOS DESIGN bomber jacket at £32.99, down from £65.00: you save £32.01, and 1.5% cashback adds about £0.49.
Hypothetical example, an order of £100: 1.5% in the browser gives £1.50, while 0.5% in the app gives £0.50, which is £1.00 less.

Returned items earn no cashback, so only what you keep counts.

ASOS on Trustpilot

Read on 28 October 2026 on the UK page: a score of 1.7 from 191,987 reviews, of which 4,138 are from the last 12 months. We do not publish the star split, because the figures we read did not match the average score.

Praised: the quality, style and range of clothing, sales and discounts, and fast delivery when it works. Criticised most: customer service by chatbot, delays and parcels marked delivered but missing (some reviewers blame the courier Relay), wrong or missing items, slow refunds and vouchers instead of money, and account blocks after claims. Trustpilot notes that ASOS has not replied to negative reviews. Caveat: the themes come from an AI summary and the first page of reviews, not all of them.

Where the sources disagree

Codes: a counter of five codes in the header of the Soleback card versus a message that no codes are available.
Delivery times: 2 to 4 working days versus usually within 3 working days on the Click & Collect page.
Refund timing: 10 plus 10 days versus an aim of 14 days.
Groupon UK: 2019 prices and thresholds versus current ASOS figures.
Soleback card date: update on 14 August 2026 versus a heading from October 2026.
Trustpilot: the star split did not match the average score.

How reliable the sources are

High: the ASOS UK help pages, read on 28 October 2026.
Medium: the Soleback shop card and Trustpilot, because the card has conflicting dates and Trustpilot's split was inconsistent.
Low: Groupon UK and other coupon sites, because their data is old or unconfirmed.
Our conclusion: trust the numbers on ASOS's own pages, check cashback rates on the card on the day you buy, and do not rely on coupon sites without confirmation.

What to do depending on your situation

First order: activate cashback on the shop card, and check the checkout for any offer, because ASOS states no figure.
You have a code from another site: compare its saving with cashback up to 1.5%, because it may block cashback.
You are a student: verify through SheerID for 10%, but remember that it does not apply on Black Friday deals.
Your basket is under £40: add £4.50 for standard delivery, or consider Premier.
You order often: Premier at £9.95 pays off quickly, unless your return rate is above 70%.
You are unsure of the size: ask for an exchange for size or colour rather than a new order.
You want fast delivery: Next Day costs £5.95 and can be switched off in busy periods.
You are waiting for Black Friday: it is announced for 27 to 30 November, with no percentages yet.
