Sephora discount code 2026: free delivery over £20, returns and cashback

On 28 October 2026 Sephora UK has no single code that works on every order. We check NEW15, LOYALTY15 and 15APPTREAT, delivery, returns, payments, reviews and Soleback cashback.

On 28 October 2026 Sephora UK has no single code that works on every order: the shop's own voucher page lists NEW15 and LOYALTY15 (15% off a first order, full-price items only), 15APPTREAT (15% for new customers in the app) and a 15% student discount through Unidays, while we could not confirm any newsletter discount. Soleback's store card (read on 28 October 2026) shows cashback of up to 2.5% at sephora.co.uk, standard delivery is free over £20, and Sephora's Trustpilot score is 2.8 out of 5 from about 3,495 reviews.

A code from outside Soleback or a purchase in the app can block your cashback, so activate the store card first and buy in the same session.

What Sephora UK is

Sephora returned to the UK with a new website and app after buying Feelunique (a Yorkshire Evening Post article puts the deal at £135m and the relaunch on 17 October, but gives no year, so we have not confirmed the date). FashionUnited reported in July 2024 that the MySephora loyalty programme was rolling out and that there were three stores then; The Retail Bulletin said on 2 February 2026 that Belfast Victoria Square would be the 13th UK store, with a target of 20 by the end of the year. The store page on sephora.co.uk lists 18 stores on 28 October 2026, and we use that figure. We found no confirmed partnership with Boots. In practice: you can buy online, in the app or in store, and Soleback cashback only tracks online orders made in the browser.

Is there a valid discount code today?

The voucher page (sephora.co.uk/voucher-codes) lists, on 28 October 2026:

LOYALTY15: 15% off a first order after registering with My Sephora; full-price items only, with electricals and some brands excluded
NEW15: 15% off a first order, with the same exclusions
15APPTREAT: 15% off in the Sephora UK app, new customers only, same exclusions
Free delivery code: none; delivery is free by threshold or membership

The page says offers are time-limited and tells you to check the terms. Our conclusion: first-order codes exist and are public, but all three exclude sale and part of the brand list, so check your basket before you pay.

The homepage and the voucher page invite you to sign up for “news and offers” without stating a discount, code, minimum order or expiry, so we could not confirm any newsletter perk. The first-order codes above are separate.

Student discount

The voucher page gives students 15% off full-price items (electricals and some brands excluded) by registering through Unidays, with no code. The homepage and help centre link to “Student Beans Offers” instead, and the /student-discount page returned an error, so we cannot say for certain which provider is live.

Voucher sites and what stands behind them

We did not open any third-party coupon site, and we do not republish other people's codes. Three findings:

The shop publishes its own voucher page with three first-order codes, so there is little reason to trust an outside list.
Outside codes cannot be checked against the shop's terms.
A code that does not appear on Soleback can stop your cashback from tracking.

Sale and offers without a code

The menu shows “Outlet Up to 30% Off” (sephora.co.uk/sale, the only percentage published), a “Coming Soon: My Sephora Sale” with a waitlist and no dates, free gifts on larger orders from big brands, 10% off two favourite brands for members, and a Refer a Friend scheme without details. The Advent Calendar 2026 and holiday collections (rhode, NARS, Tower 28, Merit) are also listed. Prices read on 28 October 2026: Sephora Collection It's a Stretch Mascara 10ml £14.99, Huda Beauty Bronze Filter Palette 7.5g £40.00, MERIT BEAUTY New Wave L'Extrait de Parfum 30ml £79.00. These came from outlet pages, and we could not confirm whether the prices shown are reduced.

Black Friday 2026: waitlist only

sephora.co.uk/black-friday has no dates and no discount levels; it says the 2025 offers have ended and offers a waitlist for Black Friday 2026. The page also mentions “3 for 2” and free-gift badges. We recommend not planning around conditions that are not published.

The Sephora app: 15% for new customers, no cashback

The app is on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and the code 15APPTREAT is app-only for new customers. Purchases in the app do not earn Soleback cashback. In practice: the app can win on a first order (15% is worth more than 2.5% cashback), but on later orders the browser with an activated store card is the better route.

MySephora loyalty programme

Rules read on sephora.co.uk/my-sephora and the MySephora FAQ:

Bronze (default): free standard delivery with no threshold, 10% off two favourite brands (up to 15% on Sephora Collection), member events, birthday gift worth 25 points
Silver (from 200+ points): everything in Bronze plus a Silver rewards catalogue and a physical birthday gift
Gold (from 880+ points): everything above plus free Premier next-day delivery on mainland UK (orders by 6pm Sunday to Friday, not available during Black Friday and Christmas), event invitations and a birthday gift
Reward: every 100 points gives £5 off, a £5 donation to Face Equality International and a choice of gift

The birthday gift lasts one month, needs your date of birth given at least 24 hours before, and comes once every 12 months. We could not confirm how points convert into pounds, when they expire or any spend thresholds in pounds.

Delivery cost: free over £20

Next Day is mainland UK only and excludes bank holidays; it is not available to Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly and some border areas, and pre-orders are excluded. A signature is needed over £200. Our reading of the sources: members get free standard delivery, and non-members get it over £20; the delivery page and the loyalty FAQ word this differently, and the Next Day cut-off is 11pm on one page and 6pm for Gold on another.

Delivery time, carrier and tracking

Six points:

Carrier: Evri for click and collect; the standard carrier is not named
Tracking: standard parcels are “tracked”, with a link in the dispatch email or your account
Large orders: may arrive in several parcels
Lost parcels: claims open after 10 working days (standard) or 5 days (Next Day)
Left with a neighbour or in a safe place: the shop is not responsible; the process for an uncollected parcel is not confirmed
Customer care: Monday to Sunday 9:00 to 17:00

Returns: 28 days and free

Returns are free, tracked and prepaid for 28 days from receipt (sephora.co.uk/returns-info). Steps:

Open the Returns Portal (sephora.myreturnsportal.com) with your order number without the last letter plus your postcode or email.
Choose the items and the reason.
Pick a return method; the no-print option gives a QR code valid for 30 days for an Evri ParcelShop drop-off.

Items must be unopened, unused and sealed. Personalised items and gift cards are excluded, and a free gift has to be returned or its value may be deducted. Refunds arrive up to 10 working days after the warehouse receives the parcel, plus up to 5 days to your account, on the original payment method. For damaged, faulty or allergic-reaction cases, contact Customer Care first.

Returns in store and exchanges

Online orders cannot be returned in store. Store purchases can be returned or exchanged within 28 days with a receipt. Exchanging an online order is not described, so we cannot price a wrong shade or size: the return itself is free, but a replacement would be a new order, with delivery of £3.95 under £20 for a non-member. Channel Islands customers post returns themselves and are refunded up to £10.

Payment methods

The payment page lists cards, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and gift cards. An order paid partly with a gift card does not earn Soleback cashback.

Stores: 18 locations

From sephora.co.uk/stores on 28 October 2026: London Carnaby Street (5-7 Carnaby Street, W1F 9PB), Westfield Stratford (157 Montfichet Rd, E20 1EJ), Westfield White City (1081 Ariel Way, W12 7GF), Spitalfields Market (65 Brushfield St, E1 6AA), Birmingham Bullring, Manchester Arndale, Trafford Centre, Edinburgh St James Quarter, Glasgow Silverburn, Cardiff St David's, Bristol Cabot Circus, Liverpool One, Sheffield Meadowhall, Newcastle Eldon Square, Metrocentre, Oxford Westgate, Bluewater and Belfast Victoria Square. Opening hours are not given on the page. Stores offer make-up and skincare, Benefit BrowBar, personalisation workshops and cosmetics recycling.

Cashback with Soleback: up to 2.5%

Store card Sephora (Great Britain), read on 28 October 2026: 2.5% as the default rate.

Missing cashback: report it within 28 days

Exceptions where cashback may not be credited:

buying in the Sephora app instead of a browser session with activation
orders with codes from outside Soleback
visiting a price comparison site or another cashback site after activating
adblock or tracking protection
orders that are cancelled, returned, unpaid or paid partly with a gift card

You need to be logged in before you activate. The card has inconsistencies: the FAQ says most codes combine with cashback while the exclusions mention codes from outside Soleback, the page lists a code while also saying there are no vouchers, and the update date is 28 September 2026 even though the title says October 2026. Store card: Sephora on Soleback.

Discount and cashback together: three calculations

Prices read on 28 October 2026, cashback 2.5%; these are hypothetical examples that ignore exclusions we did not read.

One item at £14.99 (the mascara) for a non-member: standard delivery £3.95 takes the total to £18.94, and cashback is £14.99 × 2.5% = £0.37.
Mascara plus Huda palette, £54.99, no code: delivery is free (over £20), cashback £54.99 × 2.5% = £1.37.
The same £54.99 with NEW15 on a first order: 15% is £8.25 off and you pay £46.74, as long as neither item is excluded. The code saves more than six times the £1.37 cashback.

Our conclusion: on a first order a valid 15% code beats the cashback, while from the second order on the browser with an activated card and the £20 free-delivery threshold are what count.

Reviews: 2.8 out of 5 from about 3,495 reviews

Trustpilot (uk.trustpilot.com, read on 28 October 2026): 2.8 out of 5 (“Average”) from about 3,495 reviews, about 1,963 of them in the last 12 months. Breakdown: 5 stars 29%, 4 stars 3%, 3 stars 3%, 2 stars 4%, 1 star 61%.

Praised: fast delivery, good packaging, easy navigation, quality and prices, individual customer service staff
Criticised: delayed or lost parcels (some blame Evri), tracking that does not match, wrong or damaged items, slow service with no phone line, codes that did not work, higher prices than a competitor, foundation shades
Shop replies: the company says it replies to 97% of negative reviews, usually within 24 hours, though some readers find the replies templated

Sephora's own homepage shows 4.2 stars and “79% Positive”; the two figures measure different things and we keep them apart. Trustpilot does not verify reviews.
