LEGO September 2026 releases: every set, prices and the free gifts

September 2026 starts earlier than usual at LEGO, on 29 August with the Back to Hogwarts event. The main wave lands on 1 September and is almost entirely pop culture: SpongeBob, Batman, Star Trek and Shrek. Below is the full rundown with prices, dates and the promotions that expire on 6 September.

The big Harry Potter exclusive of the year and the set that opens the September wave. At 3,491 pieces and fourteen minifigures it is both the largest and the most expensive release of the month.

Price per piece works out at £0.11, which for a licensed set with this many minifigures is solid value.

It arrives alongside 40975 Mini Hogwarts Castle at £34.99, also from 29 August.

Pop culture on 1 September

76355 Batman Returns Batmobile £189.99, Insiders early access from 1 September

The Tim Burton Batmobile from the 1992 film, and for many the real highlight of the month. Insiders get in first.

11386 SpongeBob SquarePants: Bikini Bottom 1,794 pieces, £189.99, from 1 September

SpongeBob's debut in the adult line, at £0.11 per piece.

11385 U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Bridge 1,701 pieces, £159.99, from 1 September

The piece count is no accident, because 1701 is the Enterprise hull designation. A neat design detail, and at £0.09 per piece the best value among the month's larger sets.

The first set in the new Midnight Valley range, an Icons sub-theme with a spooky bent. If it lands, expect an entire haunted neighbourhood to follow.

Available from 1 September and traditionally produced in limited quantities. If you want the Star Wars, Marvel or City calendar, do not leave it until late October.

Free gifts: read this before you order

This section is about money that never appears on a price tag.

Gift sets are exclusive to the official LEGO shop. Buy the same products from a third-party retailer and you pay much the same but get no extra. And because these sets are never sold separately, they later trade above the price of some regular retail sets.

What to watch for

The promotions end on 6 September. Three free gifts expire, so if a Harry Potter set is on your list, do not wait.

Advent calendars are produced in limited numbers. Star Wars, Marvel and City historically go first.

Insiders early access is real. Members reach the Batmobile before everyone else, which on limited sets decides the outcome.

Pre-order does not mean immediate dispatch. On the Sagrada Família there are two months between order and delivery.
