The Nether Chronograph, LE1251

The most expensive and the most striking of the three. A 44mm stainless steel case with a Netherite texture, a lava-inspired dial and a sculptural, block-textured top ring. Orange accents and blue lume that glows in the dark round it off.

One small discrepancy in the descriptions: Fossil describes Netherite tool hands sitting on a Soul Sand watchface covered with embers, while parts of the trade press describe the hands as referencing soul torches. Until the watch can be seen in person, treat that detail as unsettled.

The End Chronograph, LE1252

The most restrained design of the three. A 44mm black stainless steel case and an embossed leather strap emulating the obsidian pillars of the End dimension. Glowing tool hands and a lenticular caseback carrying a portal motif complete it.

Dungeons II Watch, LE1253

The one Fossil treats as the centrepiece. A 44mm deep blue stainless steel case, a gradient dial with the glowing silhouette of the Twisted Warden, the new boss from the forthcoming game, and glowing weapon-shaped hands.

It is the only one in the set on a silicone strap, block-textured at that, which makes it the most practical of the three.

The details that set the collection apart

Fossil did not stop at printing textures onto a dial. The designs carry sculptural textures, glowing elements, hands referencing in-game items and collectible packaging built around Minecraft's block aesthetic.

The cleverest trick carries over from the previous collection: a lenticular caseback that, as the viewing angle changes, reproduces the effect of breaking a block. It is a detail that does not show up in product photography and makes the strongest impression in the hand.
