The reveals have moved fast, and the set now has a proper chase. A Shirahoshi Manga card has been revealed for EB-05, joining Nami and Nico Robin SP cards and a new Green/Yellow Robin Leader. The Japanese release lands at the end of October 2026.

The Shirahoshi Manga card changes the set's profile

This is the most significant reveal so far, and it arrived late.

Before it, EB-05 was attractive on character appeal alone: Nami, Robin, a new Leader and the Heroines theme. A Manga-rarity card gives the set a genuine headline chase, and in this game Manga cards tend to become the symbolic card of whichever set they land in.

That matters commercially. Collectors who had no intention of opening the product start paying attention once a Manga card is confirmed, which is exactly what happened with the previous Heroines set.

Worth being clear about one thing, though: the Shirahoshi Manga, the SP cards and the Leader parallels are all chase cards, not guaranteed contents.

Nico Robin as Leader: colours and mechanics

Robin headlines the set with a fresh Green/Yellow Leader, and the reveal included her actual function rather than just the art.

The Leader is built around resting and healing through Wisdom-attribute Character synergies, which puts it in a different lane from most Straw Hat archetypes.

Supporting effects revealed so far give a sense of the deck's shape. One card lets you trash a card from hand to draw two if your Leader is Nico Robin. Another gives a rested DON!! card to a Leader or Character with the Special or Wisdom attribute, and plays a Character of 6000 power or less from hand when you are down to two or fewer Life cards.

A new yellow Character card, Orbia, was also shown.

Dates, price and formats

JPY 240 per pack including tax, with six randomly selected cards per pack and 24 packs per Japanese box. A sealed case format is also available for group openings and sealed collectors.

On dates, the picture is uneven. The official Japanese page now carries Saturday 31 October 2026, while some retailer listings have shown 30 October. The English page still says only "October 2026", and some retailers indicate pre-orders shipping in November.

If EB-03 is the guide, the English release will trail the Japanese one by months rather than weeks, since that set opened in Japan in October 2025 and in English the following February.

Not a PRB product

Worth settling, because the comparison keeps coming up.

EB-05 is an Extra Booster, not a Premium Booster. PRB products sit in the ONE PIECE CARD THE BEST lane, built purely for collectors. EB-05 sits in the character-theme booster lane, which means different print runs and a different rarity structure.

The collector interest is real, but it comes from concentrating popular characters in one product rather than from the product tier itself.
