November 2026 and a global release with no delay. What is confirmed and what comes from leaks
Soleback Team
The eighteenth main set is called OPCG Booster Pack -THE DOMINANCE OF GOD- [OP-18] and arrives in November 2026
Bandai has confirmed a simultaneous global release, so the English version will not trail the Japanese one
Yoshitaka Amano, the illustrator known for Final Fantasy, has produced original artwork for two cards: Loki and Saint Shamrock
Leaks point to Franky getting his first ever Leader card, numbered OP18-021
Bandai has not given a specific day, and most of the remaining detail comes from unofficial sources
The set was announced at One Piece Day 26 in Japan. The official English-language account for the game gives only November 2026, with no specific day.
More significant for players outside Japan is a different point: the release is set to be simultaneous worldwide. The English version arrives at the same moment as the Japanese one, without the lag that separated the two markets for years. For comparison, on August's OP-17 the Japanese version landed on 22 August and the English one on 28 August.
Distributor and retailer listings mostly point to 20 November 2026, with a few outlets suggesting the end of the month. Until Bandai formally announces, treat any specific date as provisional, since previous sets have shifted by a week or two.
The title "The Dominance of God" references the Imu thread and the ongoing Elbaf saga in the manga, in which the God's Knights attempt to bring the island of giants under their control.
It is a natural extension of the line the card game has followed for several sets. OP-17 leaned on Elbaf and the Four Emperors, and OP-18 shifts the weight to the opposing side.
The biggest surprise in the announcement concerns the artwork. Yoshitaka Amano, the character designer known for the Final Fantasy series and for "Vampire Hunter D", has produced original work for two cards in OP-18:
Loki, the exiled prince of Elbaf, on an 8000-power character card
Saint Shamrock, on a 9000-power character card
One point needs flagging. It is circulating that both cards function as Secret Rares, but Bandai has not stated their rarity, and sources describe them simply as alternate illustrations on character cards. Until official confirmation this is worth treating as open, because most of the price speculation around the set hangs on it.
This is the third such guest appearance in the game's history. The Five Elders were previously drawn by Gege Akutami, creator of "Jujutsu Kaisen", in OP-13, and Kaido by Keisuke Itagaki, author of "Baki", in OP-17.
The following comes from material that surfaced after the announcement, not from a Bandai release.
Franky, numbered OP18-021, a green and purple combination. It would be his first Leader card in the game's history and most likely the payoff to Bandai's tease about a long-awaited character finally heading a deck
Saint Gunko, numbered OP18-060, a purple Leader on the God's Knights side
Spoilers have also shown Nico Robin, numbered OP18-031, in a manga variant, along with Mini-Merry, numbered OP18-078.
These figures also circulate as leaks and have not been confirmed by Bandai. The rarity breakdown runs as follows:
Leader: 6 cards
Common: 45
Uncommon: 30
Rare: 26
Super Rare: 10
Secret Rare: 2
Special Card: 6
Treasure Rare: 1
DON!! cards sit on top of that. Leaked checklists mention roughly 127 card types, with the set built around three already familiar archetypes plus one entirely new one that Bandai has not yet named.
The sales format stays standard: a display holds 24 boosters of 12 cards in the English edition, so 288 cards per box.
The same unofficial sources cover two other products:
EB-05 "ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2", an extra booster slated for October 2026, with Nico Robin as Leader
ST-37 and ST-38, new starter decks for December 2026
The suggestion is that pairing OP-18 cards with the December starters should give new players a realistic shot at competing higher up. Until Bandai communicates officially, treat that as a claim rather than a certainty.
Pre-orders are already open at some distributors and specialist shops, including in Europe. Two things are worth keeping in mind.
First, until Bandai gives an official date, the timings in shops are estimates. Some sellers state outright that the dispatch date may move.
Second, cancellation terms can be restrictive. Some shops charge a handling fee on withdrawal, and orders become final in the days before release. Read the pre-order terms before committing, because on a set without a confirmed date the risk of a shift is real.
The alternative is waiting for release day. On main sets, stock usually holds out longer than on limited collector products, though prices tend to peak during launch week.
Bandai has not published the full card list, the name of the new archetype, the complete set of six Leaders, the rarity of the Amano cards, or recommended prices for any market.
Official card previews normally start a few weeks before release, so specifics should arrive in October and early November.
November 2026. Bandai has not given a day, and retailer listings mostly point to 20 November.
No. Bandai has announced a simultaneous global release, unlike previous sets.
Loki, at 8000 power, and Saint Shamrock, at 9000 power. Their rarity has not been confirmed.
According to leaks, yes, numbered OP18-021 in a green and purple combination. It would be his first.
12 cards per booster and 24 boosters per display in the English edition, so 288 cards.
Bandai has not given recommended pricing for any market.
The nearest real marker is the start of official card previews, which on previous sets began a few weeks before release. That is when the full list, the new archetype's name and the rarity of the Amano cards should appear.
Until then, a pre-order remains a bet on a date the publisher has not confirmed.
