adidas Originals for pets: the £70 knitted hoody and the full collection

The quilted vest from the adidas Originals pet clothing collection is available on adidas.co.uk. We checked the price, colours and sizes, and what adidas leaves out.

The adidas Originals Pet Padded Vest costs £45 on adidas.co.uk, and on 13 October 2026 all three colourways had an active "Add to bag" button. It is the cheapest piece of cold weather gear in the adidas Pets range. There is one catch worth knowing before you buy: the product page gives no measurements for your dog, so you pick a size without any centimetres from the brand.
In our Polish article on the adidas pet collection, published on 1 October, the vest was listed as sold out in all three colours. On 13 October every one of the three product pages (LI2591, LI2592, LI2593) on adidas.co.uk could be added to the bag. The aggregator Sneakerjagers gives 4 October 2026 as the European release date of the black version.
Those dates suggest we saw the product page before sales opened, not a sell out. That is our inference, adidas has issued no statement. Stock per size is not confirmed, because the size selector is loaded by a script.
£45 is exactly the price of the adidas pet collar and £25 less than the knitted hoody. Here is the UK price list for adidas Pets dog clothes and accessories:
All prices were read on the adidas.co.uk pets page on 13 October 2026.
All three versions cost the same, so the only choice is colour:
According to the adidas description, each has 3-Stripes on the shoulders, an embroidered Trefoil on the chest and a quilted logo on the back.
The description mentions shiny padded material and full body quilting for warmth on chilly days. The page gives no fabric composition, no type of fill, no information on water resistance and no washing instructions.
For dog clothing that is a real gap, because the vest will come back from walks wet and muddy. When it arrives, read the care label first. If machine washing is a must for you and the label rules it out, you still have time to return it.
The size selector has five slots. Sneakerjagers lists them as XS to XL, but that is aggregator data, not adidas. A 2XL is not confirmed.
The bigger issue is this: we found no chest girth, neck girth or back length for any size on the product page, which only links to the general size guide. The general size chart on adidas.pl, which we checked, has tables for men, women and kids, but none for pets. So you are buying clothes for your dog without knowing how many centimetres sit behind S or M.
Measure your dog before you choose a size. Canine guides such as the AKC recommend three measurements with your dog standing:
The vest should fit snugly, but you should be able to slide two fingers underneath. If your dog falls between sizes, go up a size. Since adidas does not publish measurements, you can ask customer service for the centimetres of a specific size before ordering.
The adidas.co.uk product page advertises free shipping options and 30 day returns, and the homepage promises free returns for 30 days. We could not confirm the free delivery threshold or the standard delivery cost, because the help pages load their content with a script. Check the cost in your bag before paying.
When trying on pet clothing, keep it short: a clean, dry dog, indoors, with the tags left on. Hair and smell on a returned vest could complicate the return. That is practical advice, we found no separate adidas return rules for pet products.
All three product pages say the vest is excluded from some promotional discounts and offers. Waiting for a discount code on this one is unlikely to pay off.
adidas has no Soleback partner link for the UK, so the links in this article go straight to adidas.co.uk. You can check the current cashback stores in our promotions catalogue, and the Soleback extension will remind you about cashback wherever it is available. So the padded vest is not a new idea. It is the first adidas dog vest you can buy from the brand's own European stores.
We found the vest only on adidas.co.uk. In the multi brand shops we checked (including END., ASOS, Snipes and Zalando) we did not come across it or any other adidas pet clothing. Some of these shops did not allow their pages to be fetched, so treat this as the state on 13 October rather than a certainty.
